stlouisman: As long as the smoker''''s choice doesn''''t interfere with my choice as a non-smoker. You are absolutely correct, but the road should be two way. Heavy smoke in a bar, elevator, office, any confined area, etc is intolerable, but should a person desire a cigarette outside their house, office, or in their car when they are alone should be the individual''s choice.

It amazes me that poeple treat something that is at worst a bad habit as if it were a crime against humanity.

Only the liberal Obama-the-Messiah Obama-does-no-wrong MSM could think of a way to put a positive spin on the fact that their perfect ideal God Obama is a smoker. It''''s a filthy and intensely dangerous and gross habit, yet instead of being castigated for it, we get these silver-lining bubbleheaded drivel stories.

Yeah right!
Conservative Larry Craig tapping his foot in the Airport bathroom was such a great habit!
Conservative Mark Foley sexually harassing a 14 years old boy on the internet was such a great habit!
Conservative preists sodomizing young boys in the churches is such a great habit!
How come people don''t feel ashmaed being called Conservatives?

This smoker doesn''t have a problem with it. Besides, people voted for him knowing that he used to drink and do drugs. Why the surprise now?

Using nicotine gum and patches are simply crutches that prolong the whole quitting process. At some point, you have to use willpower and grit and just stop. Cold turkey. Virtually everyone who has quit successfully has gone this route. And, it''''s the same method for ANY chemical dependency. You go long enough without ANY chemical, and after time, your body doesn''''t demand it anymore.

The most difficult part of quitting smoking is the habit itself. The nicotene and other addictive elements are out of your body and you body no longer physically craves them after about three days. It''s the emotional dependency that is the hard part to get by.

Clinton was a woman-izer and Obama is a smoker. These two are terrible. We should only elect presidents who amuse themselves by lying to us, committing mass murder and looting the treasury. You go Dubya.

I am impressed by your superiority. By the way I think electing Obama will turn out to be one of the gravest mistakes the voters of this country have ever made.

I hope he demonsrates the self control to quit this dirty habit.

Do people think that by calling it a dirty habit that that will convince people to quit. All it does is insult people. And as I have said previously, the one key to quittinf is sincerily wanting to quit.
