btw. i can imagine there could be such a thing as a right wing communist, as these term are just arbitray descriptions that related to where in a government hall these groups sat. the right side or the left side. the left side was occupied by workers and farmers and such, while the right was occupied by aristrocratic wealthy, land owner types. the political implications have only evolved over the last 60 years maybe.

brian-However, I do continue to press our legislature to get on with the war crimes, treason, and crimes against humanity trials for the head pimp, as we lost too many good people for nothing, while the not good death worshipers such as yourself, can continue to pretend to be military, and support criminality.

Get off your high horse. I''ve had enough of this phony sense of morality. Even if these savages were starved to death it would be a better than if the situation was reversed. It''s very easy to be an advocate for the "cool topic of the week". Do you think anyone who has different views from these prisoners, let alone americans, would get treatment of an civil nature??

Open your eyes. Have a problem with the government and hate Bush because that is the cool thing to do right now. But realize that if these people were holding you captive you''d probably be dead by now.

This is the absolute STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard. These artists/musicians should be PROUD as heck and feel the ultimate sense of PATRIOTISM that our boys in uniform would use the UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE of music to expose the diabolically brain-washed prisoners to western culture. These musical artists should be ASHAMED to feel the way they do. Music is somposed so it can be PLAYED! Can I file a formal complaint of a lawsuit next time that I''m in an elevator or doctor''s office and am forced to listen to the music played THERE?

Instead of using copywrited stuff the army should contract someone to make specific cd''s for this purpose. Dueling bagpipes, Heavy metal accordians, or rap music in a car with a giant sound system that is driven up and down the street by the inmate''s cell.

what bull. the real reason the artists are pissed off is because they''re not getting PAID to have their music torture people. Copywright infringement and what not heh.

We''re supposed to feel sorry for murders that chop people''s heads off for fun because loud music drives them crazy? Yeah right.

Unfortunately, he allowed that ''little'' event to slip in even AFTER the Clinton administration provided him with the ''Bin Laden Determined to Attack US'' report. Guess he was too busy clearing brush in Crawford while on vacation to have taken notice. Or maybe he was too arrogant and thought he''d disregard anything that the Clinton''s gave him.

If you ask the left wing communists, they''d prefer to sit down with these people, light some patchuli incense while playing harp music in the background, and then start the interrogation saying: ''Oh you poor little thing. Tell us what is on your mind...Did your mommy love you too much?''

But hey, maybe that''ll just work.

strange story , i never heard of any reporters held at gitmo....much less for the crime he says he was detained for.....reporting illegal arms sales? If this is true then it is just one more crime our government has committed.I would like to make up some charges for those who have done this, only thing is ...they probably wouldn''t be made up as our government is corrupt

brianbwb - I couldnt agree more with you. As a matter of fact, we need smart people like you in the Army. You should sign up to be a JAG defence lawyer for the detainees down there. Got talk to your local recruiter and he''ll hook you right up.

Btw, you still haven''t come up with any reasons why the victims ended up tortured...
