What kind of wimpy contractors are we using? What if this was a real American, a contractor trained to use weapons or a journalist who could dig up some dirt?
David Vance should sue for his capture, detention and torture. Or he should at least investigate it enough to get and publish the names of everyone there so he could seek some revenge. That''s how a real American would do it when they can''t sue.

This is an american, didn''t kill anyone, wasn''t chaged and was released after 90 days. it could have been you.

liberals wants to remind the world that peace can be attained using hugs..

a lot of dictators and evil men would agree with that

One of my favorite moments was reading an advertisement in the Utne reader. The caption read "Dictators shudder at the name of ...." and it was some fresh faced hippie looking kid. Yeah, I''m sure Than Shwe thinks constantly about some Patchouli oil granola kid while he''s busy torturing some pro-democracy demostrator. I''m sure Vladimir Putin takes into consideration all the Shakra chants of the nonviolence commitee before he sends some KGB flunky out to poison people with Polonium.

These nonviolence clowns live in their own magical realm where every problem can be solved with hugs, kises, and watching Barney. And yet they somehow couldn''t hug and kiss their way out of the mugging last week.

Torture. The word is getting spread so thin that it is loosing its meaning. Is torture burning somebody with a cigarette? Is torture making someone listen to blaring music for 24 hours? Is torture making your kids eat vegetables? IS it not letting a person get enough sleep? Lawyers can have a field day with this one. Future headline: FBI arrest entire school faculty for torturing students with bad food and boring lectures, students then arrested for torturing neighbors with loud obnoxious celebratory music.

kinda like the romans..the citizens became too detached from reality, too pompus, oblivious to danger

Why isn''''t the recod industry suing? This is clearly a violation of the fine print in every CD.

Guess he was too busy clearing brush in Crawford while on vacation to have taken notice. Or maybe he was too arrogant and thought he''''d disregard anything that the Clinton''''s gave him.

Bush did slip up here & there a bit...but wud any sane guy beleive the monstrous 911 to occur?-& what was the saner reason for that attack-afterall US/West helped Afghan''n liberate agnst the Soviets & US had been aiding pakistan since yrs...look closely at their idealogy-they just want to finish off anyone who beleives/think differently from them--indoctrinating their young to hate& jehadi-no provocation needed-they want to go aggressive, destabilise neighbors, convert forcibly & establish their barbaric rule everywhere-throughout history-always forcing & massacre-this''s unacceptable in today''s civilized world..thats why this music furor seems superfluous-method is tame compared to what these countries do-slitting throats, public beheading;stoning women sans a say;suppression of minorities;zero religious freedom...the list goes on.(why do you''nt ask why no other religion''s allowed in SaudiA while they insists on setting up mosques at all others holysites?)hence Bush may''ve made monies, gone to Iraq instead of to pakistan+afghan''stan, but times come when a lil heavy hand is necessary...else let those savages stay put in their caves with their religion & drugs for company...

I see...if they do it, we should do it too. Regardless how inhumane the actions may be. I hope there are still some folks in this country that can operate and function without lowering their standards.

You want to see people tortured?

Have you ever spoke to a child who''s been physically, sexually, and mentally abused? When you do, and you meet the scum that does those kinds of thing, you wouldn''t mind seeing them tortured either. I don''t want to see innocent people harmed, but i FIRMLY believe that people''s punishments today are not equal to the crimes they commit.

Centerfall94 == You are like every delusional liberal I''ve ever listen to since Viet Nam.
Without YOU getting up close and personal with these Really Bad Guys YOU can talk about things being fair or unfair.
Every combat soldier doesn''t have that same luxury. His life is threaten every second of every day, that conept seems to evade your perception ENTIRELY.
Any information that could save his life or prevent an injury to him I FAVOR even if its extraced by using a BLOW TORCH!

BTW: NEWS FLASH! These guys aren''t playing fair and neither should we.

If you had any understanding of what our patriotic colonial freedom fighters did to their Tory neighbors who they believed had been aiding the British you might realize what everyone who serves in combat knows already. That being: THAT WAR IS HELL! And it isn''t Fair! You are a Kool Aide Sipping Idiot!
