FBI: "Plausible But Unsubstantiated" Report Of Al Qaeda Plans To Attack Subway System
- Libs will take note of any attack and handle it 10 times better than any repugnant neocon. We can thank bush if there is another attack. I really don''t know what more he could''ve done to fan the flames. BTW, a person actually asked me if I was repug cuz I was flying the flag! What a bunch of c**p, we libs love our country and flag just as much as anyone. And for the 1st time in 8 years are proud of it!!!!

- Iwashungry, you people would rather blame Bush and America than the radicals, we moved out of Afghanistan after the Taliban were ousted and democracy was restored. Just because the radicals living in caves won''t give up doesn''t mean we have abandoned Afghanistan, we are still fighting andwill continue as long as the people now in charge keep up the fight. Listening to people like you over the years it''s amazing that you would say anything at this point.
Rafterman, why not take a a long walk in the streets of Pakistan or any other middle eastern country then bring back some more of your tiresome sarcasm regarding the threat of Radical Islam. Better yet walk up to any native NEw Yorker and spew the same lame crapp you spew here. See how that works for you. - Reply to this comment
- guyfrompa49, my guess is they won''t call it scare tactics, and inside job, justify the attack by blaming the president and America, something tells me it will be completely different and real now that their man is in charge. LOL!

- I guess now that the election is over and Obama has become president elect, the libs can now take the threat from radical Islam seriously, then again the brainwashing of the libs was very pervasive, maybe the denial will continue time will tell.

Any chance you have the slightest evidence regarding any of these claims? With all due respect, your post sounds pretty delusional. Do you honestly believe that "domestic terrorists" can do anything --whatsoever -- to "eliminate" oil drilling and coal mining in this country?? Wouldn''t the oil and coal companies in this country have something to say about that? Lastly, any idea how you managed to lump "environmentalism" in with: (another priceless quote from your imagination:) "anarchy, narcotics, ''illicit whiskey'' and smut." And just what is "illicit whiskey" anyway? Last time I checked, the stuff has been legal since Prohibition was repealed.
It''s posts like yours that confirm the utter failure of the educational system in America. Nothing personal, you understand, it''s just that there''s way too much hyped-up nonsense like yours on these blogs, NONE of which helps anyone understand the real issues or to protect our country in any way. Happy Thanksgiving, all the same . . . - Reply to this comment
- If we simply put a wiretap on both Bush and Cheney we could catch the terrorists red-handed.

This is what the Bush Administration understands:
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."

- I would think at this time it would be prudent to think there''''s always a plan to attack New York and any other vulnerable public place in the US.

- STUART, Fla. (AP) - A student at a Florida school has been arrested after authorities said he was "passing gas" and turning off his classmates'''' computers. According to a report released Friday by the Martin County Sheriff''''s Office, the 13-year-old boy "continually disrupted his classroom environment" by intentionally breaking wind. He then shut off some computers other students were using.
The Spectrum Junior-Senior High School was arrested Nov. 4.
A school resource officer placed the boy under arrest after he confessed about his behavior, according to the report. He was charged with disruption of school function and released to his mother.
This kid got into more trouble for farting than the enemy combatants we have in guantanamo.

- Does anyone else recognize the catch 22 aspect of releasing this kind of information. Release the information & nothing happens, you are accused of intentionally trying to scare the public. Don''t release the information & something does happen, you are accused intentionally withholding the information for some kind of personal gain. Regardless of what party you''re in, this is very tough call for any President or security agency to make. Dammed if you do & dammed if you don''t.

- Believe me, the democraps will be blaming Bush all through Obamas administration. "
I beleive it is called personal responsibility--when someone like Bush screws up and causes problems, the buck should stop with them. Even more so with Bush since he has pushed a raft of failed policies and philosophies left-over from Bush I and Reagan, and it is important to identify the source of the problem so we learn the lesson not to repeat what caused it.
But actually no one is blaming Bush personally now, just focused on identifying and cleaning up all the problems he caused, ignored, or allowed to continue.

But you must not forget that the blame starts with the Clinton administration that cut our military and intelligence to balance the budget. Clinton put ALL OF US in danger because he wanted to balance the budget. Why didn''t Clinton take Osama when he was offered to him? - Reply to this comment
