Security Guard Shoots Man Waving Pair Of Samurai Swords At Hollywood Building, LAPD Says
- People to whom gun ownership is the most important "right" in their lives are very shallow people indeed.
Yes, if everyone were required to carry guns... There''''d be a lot more shootings. Crazy old ladies, groups of rap-listening punks, enraged drivers, snotty cashiers, nervous commuters, xenophobes, homophobes, arm ''''em all. Great idea.

- Not to second-guess the guard, but maybe shooting the guy in the leg would have slowed him down???

Seems to me you are doing exactly that, second guessing the guard when you were not there and it was not your life in danger. - Reply to this comment
- As always, stupid readers are confusing the point of the story.
This is not a 2nd Amendment story. These were security guards, not civilians. People to whom gun ownership is the most important "right" in their lives are very shallow people indeed.
The person who stated this was an ex-member who had "wised up" -- yeah, waving swords around in public in the 21st century, particularly against guys with guns, certainly sounds wise.

- By the way, all you rookies who repeat the programming about guns which you have been led to believe: guns are a right to ensure that the government does not become so powerful over us that we lose our other rights- like the right to live.

Yes, yes. I know that I am prepared to defend my right to own my PPK against an Abrams M1B MBT.
One lesson in making an IEDs is worth any number of 9mm pistols anyday.

- Thank God.
By being prepared, a man was able to defend his life and the lives of his co-workers.
If every person were required to carry a gun, robbery would almost completely disappear!

If there werent guns, there would be no misery in the world.
We should ban them all, as soon as we did there would be no crime and everyone would love each-other.
Why would criminals need guns if the cops didnt have them? If we disarm the cops, and citizens, the criminals would surrender their guns.
I cant see how a criminal would even want a gun just to protect billions of dollars worth of drugs. Because he/she deals with other criminals, that doesnt sound dangerous?
Its not like drug smugglers could smuggle guns in with their millions of tons worth of cocaine.
Join The Brady Campaign. We blame inanimate objects for the actions of humans rather than hold people responsible for what they do. Its too emotional to get angry at people, especially when your a libtard who buys off on c r a p like lack of education or socio-economic status as causal factors in crime.
Remember, we at The Brady Campaign, Handgun Control Inc. and The Million Mom March make excuses for criminals who rape and murder children. Its easier than dealing with the harsh reality of punishing criminals.
Next time a psycho kills someone, or a crook rapes a child, thank HCI, The Brady Bunch, and Rosie Odonnel- Reply to this comment

- Good for them. I wish they would let bank tellers have guns. Everyday in my town, some AH walks into a bank and robs it. If they would shoot a few, maybe the next one would think twice. Same thing for 7-11 type markets. The cops can''t do anything but draw chalk lines around the victims.

- Stupidity can be very expensive. It cost this chump his life. The other chumps just lose their money.

- Reminds me of something a biker told me once: "never bring a knife to a gunfight" I guess this proves once again that those scientology freaks have no common sense.

- The Cult of $cientology did not begin to tout itself as a ''church'' until the 1950''s.
Its founder, Lafayette R. Hubbard, was a pill-popping, alcoholic writer that wrote science-fiction for a penny per word for publishers that liked his inventive mind.
The Cult of $cientology now has about three thousand adherents that must pay for each and every ''secret'' they ''learn'' from ''enablers'' in the cult''s high-security ''centers'', and, to be a most-high member of the cult, one would have spent in excess of $300,000 over the space of dozens of years.
It will be interesting to follow this story and see who this whacked-out member of the Cult was and what his malfunction tuned out to be !
BAN $CIENTOLOGY NOW ! - Reply to this comment
