Then in four more years you can vote for me again for this wonderful change. No longer will big businesses be your boss but me!
The education you will receive at the public road works for 4 or 8 years will help you find your dream come through.

I know you would rather sit at home and wait for your welfare check than do an honest days work, Mr CollegeGrad...and the capacity of that higher learning brain of yours is probably overwhelmed with all of the ''INTELLECTUAL'' books you read each day to realize that huge projects like the ones in Obamas plan will need just as many white collar workers as it will need skilled and unskilled workers....now back to your studies....GENIUS!!!

The trump alternative energy strategy is to put people to work on a space-based solar power program. It coordinates missions in NASA, DOE, and DOD and aligns presidential policies in energy, space, security, commerce, environment, and education. See the National Security Space Office of the Pentagon''s 10/10/07 release: "Space-Based Solar Power as An Opportunity for Strategic Security". SBSP will encourage kids to do well in science and math, for those are the primary jobs that will be created by this program. A single sunsat can contribute 5 GW to the electric grid, about the output of 10 fission plants, and it doesn''t introduce pollution or waste heat into the atmosphere. With the electrification of transportation, it can run fleet vehicles as well.

THATS a LIE!! We want to hold people accountable. Bill Clinton trashed "Trickle Down", the Democrat Party gave up control of Congress to do it. HE proved beyond a doubt that a pay as you go system for giving Tax Cuts was the ONLY way to do things. Bush was elected, went right back to Trickle Down and here we are. EVERYONE knows who the party of De-Regulation was and how they beat any politician on the head if they refused to go along with the "Party". You are right in that it wasn''''t ONE MAN''''s FAULT, it was ONE PARTIES FAULT and that PARTY should and was held accountable.

First: Bill Clinton STARTED deregulation prior to leaving office.
Second: This mess was mostly caused by stupid banking rules put in place to make financing homes easy to qualify for and tossing away good business sense.
Third: With 9/11, several MAJOR hurricanes, Two wars, the Burst Housing bubble, the Burst Internet bubble...what the he77 did you expect to happen?

But like all bad things, this too shall pass.

No, what is unbelievable is that you idiots seem to want to push the blame on ONE man whereas it took 3 decades of screw-ups to cause the meltdown we are seeing today. You give Mr. Bush much more power than he really has.

It is UNBELIEVABLE, with the entire economic system melting down around us, with the Former FED Chairman telling us it was the Party in control that brought it down, we still have people who, for whatever reason, continue to hang on to the belief that it isn''t that bad, that we do not have to take extreme action. It''s INSANE, even MORE insane than their Hero, Hoover! Obama will bring us out of this and it would be so much easier if he could take office now because the ship of state is floating free without any hand at the wheel.

Uh Huh?! Can you who claim the last 8 years weren''t so bad, show us ONE, just ONE MONTH, during the entire 8 years the fascist were in control that we actually had a growth in the American Standard of Living. I can''t find one! Now IF thing''s were that bad why did the Standard of Living fall and continue to fall ALL EIGHT YEARS! Good grief folks how much FAILURE does it take for you losers to figure out the TRICKLE DOWN does not, has not nor will not work. ALREADY, and he hasn''t even taken office, Obama has done MORE for working American''s than the Fascist did in EIGHT YEARS!!

It is ''fantasy talk'' to believe that we can try and tough it out under a bankrupt Federal Reserve System; you are absolutely right about that.

That''s why Obama has to meet with China, India, Russia and perhaps Brazil and explain to them that it is in their best interest to go back to the Bretton Woods agreement of 1944 of fixed-exchange-range and an anchor for our currency like gold or silver.

We cannot save the system because it is already dead.

Once you REPLACE that system upon treaty agreement with other major countries that hold our debt,

then the world can finally agree to use "Sovereign Investment Credit" instead of this neo-liberal Anglo-Dutch financie'' nonsense that Wall Street and the City of London has used to loot the world.

Spend the billions on wind turbines, river turbines, tidal generators, desalinization plants, nano solar technology, made in America by Americans. Build rapid transits in the cities and transcontinental. Don''t build roads. Retool and refund American factories. Support entrepeneurs. Stop immigration. Practice protectionism. Cap corporate profit. Cap interest rates. Rebuild America. Build a Future. Stop congressional control, corporate control, and lobbyist control. FREE AT LAST?

We are not dealing with a magic cure here, it''s taken a long time for the CEO''S and government to put America in this shape,Mr Bush and some of the worlds greatest leaders have told us we are in for time worse then the great depression. NO PERSON CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM,IT''S HERE DEAL WITH IT AND STOP THINKING THIS MUSLIM TRAINED BLACK MAN IS A GOD. HE WON BECAUSE HE TOLD PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANTED TO HEAR NOT THE TRUTH. WHERE DO YOU THINK HE"S GOING TO GET THE MONEY FROM,DO YOU REALLY THINK HE"S GOING TO BRING JOBS BACK TO AMERICA,NOT. MY GREATEST FEAR IS HE WILL SELL US OUT TO RUSSIA AND CHINA USING THE MIDDLE EAST AS A REASON AND THE PEOPLE WILL THINK IT''S IN AMERICAS BEST INTEREST TO DO SO.

THE LAST MONEY SENT OUT TO THE PEOPLE WAS BORROWED FROM CHINA.AMERICA HAS TO PAY IT BACK WITH INTEREST. HOW DOES THAT HELP AMERICA ? ARE IT"S PEOPLE ? TALK IS CHEAP,YOU HAVE TO LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REALITY AND FANTASY TALK. YOUR LOOKING FOR A GOD TO SAVE YOU,YOUR LOOKING IN IN THE WRONG PLACE.The time has come for neighbors to take care of each other look out for each other, stop fighting with each other because EVERTHING will get worse soon. Some interesting polls when Presidents leave office...

Jimmy Carter 43%

Herbert Hoover 26%

George Sean Hannity Bush 17%

George Bush will go down as the worse President ever in the history of the United States!

Clinton himself admits it. Like the old saying goes Denial isn''''t just a river in Egypt.

Posted by thcarson at 05:51 AM : Nov 23, 2008

That may be true, but it took a whacked out war that never should have been fought in Iraq, to push us over the economic edge.

I find it very telling, that when the U.S.S.R. collapsed, they too, were in that same region.

Not sure what that really tells us. But I do find it interesting.

Those years were residual holdovers from prior administrations. However, I noticed in 2003-05 that things were slipping. Like in high gas prices, I could see that if somebody didn''''t step in and control those prices, that there would be a steep price to pay. Economically speaking.

Policies enacted by that prior administration were a major contributor to the current problem, Clinton himself admits it. Like the old saying goes Denial isn''t just a river in Egypt.

I know you are being sarcastic, but we''ll end up losing 2-3 times that number, in the coming months.

I have all of the above. I finally have worked my way back to a point where I have a good healthcare policy through my employer and I would rather be able to use it, thank you. I have at times fallen behind in my career due to major illness and injury which made it impossible to work for 3 years at a time...I finally have worked up to a good-paying job with benefits which I would prefer to keep intact.

Posted by ffoulkes at 03:41 AM : Nov 23, 2008

I''m glad that you have been able to overcome all of your adversities. I think you are one of the luckier ones. There are many many people out there that have been harmed beyond any hope by this bogus Health Care System. And I use that term loosely...

Actually, if you look back...6 of those 8 years were very strong even with the fall of the towers, two wars and several major hurricanes. Things started to head down hill when faulty banking practices brought into play decades ago finally came to a head. I know you wanted Al Gore to win, but you really need to finally get over it.

This plan is for our future and that of our kids....
For anyone not supprting this plan on its fundemental values, decency and its principles should be deported.

Deport away...only the only ones you can deport are those who are not citizens... Just because someone does not agree with what you think is a great plan doesn''t make them terrible people or America haters.
