We could use the free market approach... They make license plates and with the money they get they buy the condoms. The jail, in turn, enables a web portal where people can pay to watch what goes on inside the jail. A self-funding jail...

They didn''t hurt anyone with what they were doing. I''d rather they have *** with each other then two men doing each other in jail. STD rate is so high in jail and one of the main reason is they are servicing each other with no condoms.

If they keep this up, people will be trying to break into the prison :-)

Hey, at least they weren''t trying to escape the prison. I''d rather have the prisoners sneaking over to another cell block to get it on then actually being able to get out of the prison itself to commit more crimes.

Keep the prisoners separate by gender so they can only have same gender relations.

Give them condoms and let them go at it. They''re still off the streets but infinitely more relaxed, less stress on the guards, etc. Sounds like a win-win for all involved.

Felony escape charges?
Are you kidding me?
In this economy, with empty food bank shelves, they''re
going to waste taxpayer money on this!?

Boy, I wonder who really has the hard-on there?

Prosecutors have filed felony escape charges against the six inmates, who were awaiting trial on a variety of charges. Five of the inmates remain in the Greene County Jail, while one has been transferred to the Monroe County Jail in Bloomington.
----------------------------------

The prosecutors are crazy. The *** was consentual. If they fix whatever little damage they did, that should be the end of it.

Frankly, by doing what they did, they relieved stress thereby making things better in the jail. Punishment is wrong in this case.

Apparently your reason is liberal in nature. A cubicle and cell are two different things. One for work ...the other for punishment. By trying to down play the difference between the two you seek to make the jail time an unfair thing. If they wanted to screw then they should have considered that before they comitted the crime. Therefore that analogy is one of a frail decission making ability.

Sentry88,
how did they destroy property, they removed some screws and moved the panel. An easy enough fix. If they had been smart they would have put the screws back in and worked on getting a better means of unscrewing the screws. After they serve their time, they could be hired as inspectors to find these little problems. But I agree they didn''t escape.
