I used to...and I never liked seeing women do anything but take it from a guy. That''''s what you should do if you''''re a woman.

Well, the porn industry is pretty big...and I''d be surprised if there''s one porn flick out there that doesn''t have homosexual behavior.

Okay, Okay. Exchanging insults with you is just too much fun.

But here''s a thought: How many men watch porno? Don''t men just love to watch women get it on with each other? If this is true, most men would be hypocrites to enjoy watching homosexuality in their bedrooms, but then to criticize it in the light of day.

ziadora, you''''ve typed some words but said nothing.

You ask, "what does pride have to do with sexuality"? Great question. Have you ever seen a ''''gay pride'''' event? I agree with you, it is nothing to be proud of.

I also find it mildly ammusing the way 5% of the population tells the other 95% what is normal. I don''''t think even you can argue that STATISTICALLY, gay is an anomolly.

Finally, do you care to address the point about those being predisposed, in other words, oriented, towards violence being distincly NOT normal?

You can try to justify your preferences all you want. If I were you, I would say the same things. Nobody wants to admit that they''''re behavior, voluntary or not, is destructive and deviant.

First, if you are not able to comprehend my words, then I suggest you go back to school.

Second, I don''t believe I ever stated my sexuality.

Third, I''m not going to address your red herring reference to violence.

Oh yes, the Bible. Let''''''''s see, according to the Bible, the earth is 6,000 years old.

If we were to add about 4.5 billion years to this figure, the Bible would indeed be anything but wrong.

Aaah, yes...and, I guess you were there when these dinosaurs roamed the earth? Or you were there throughout this alleged 4.5 million time frame? That is a "theory", not a "fact". I do hope you know the difference between the two.

What in the world does pride have to do with sexuality? Maybe that''s your department....

And so what if you were born heterosexual. Is that your worn-out, straight argument for criticizing the sexuality of others that differs from your own?

Isn''t it amazing that people always state that homosexuality is morally wrong and cite the Bible as evidence of that when in fact the man whom the bible is named after (King James) was himself homosexual and had 8 male lovers. Isn''t history fun? Kind of makes you wonder if good old King James ever read the Bible and how much of it is really just someone''s opinion.

My argumwnt has nothing to do with company finances. Mine has to do with simple right and wrong. Despite their cries to the contrary, homosexuality is wrong.

Moral valuations have nothing to do with equality under the constitution. Christianity is wrong but I embrace freedom of religion because Christians and non-Christians alike are free to practice or choose not practice any religion.

yes I am old fashioned and I believe if you can''t pro-creat then you there is something wrong. And I am not meaning couples who are infertile I mean couples that are the same *** and can''t get each other that way because they don''t have the necessary parts/tools! So along with that you also should NOT be allowed the same tax breaks or anything else that a married couple has if you are allowed them then so should people that are just living together. Same difference in my book. You can be gay all day long but DON''T push your views and ideas off on everyone else in the country. I am not telling you to stay in the closet, even if I think you should, but I am telling you that it should NOT be legal for you to be married that is not the way. I will leave you with this prayer! Dear almighty Lord we need your helping hand and healing hand to reach down and touch this great nation. Make it what it once was. Wash all of us of our sins! In your name we humbly pray.... AMEN!

I think this is all nuts! Bible saids Man should not lay with kind and woman should not lay with a woman. So take it at that. No wonder this world is in so much trouble today. It is the Wrath of the good Lord coming down just like the old days of Babylon. I am not sure if a gay person can change or not. I know that I have family members that are this way and though I don''t shun them I don''t agree with the life style and they know this so we choose not to debate the subject. I won''t be rude to their partners but neither would they expect to come to my home and sleep in the same room together.

Mine had to do with being a bully magnet when I was a kid. Took me several decades to get over it. Copious amounts of ganja helped quite a bit, as well as getting older and seeing these bullies as sad creatures, not terrifying at all.

Marriage is a Christian function. Why do *** want to be "religious" if they hate religion so much?

What makes you think *** hate religiion?

That is ridiculous. I for one am a proud Christian who happens to be gay.

In the matter of g@y marriage, the only way to observe the constitutional guarantee of equality under the law for all citizens is to either allow g@ys to marry or strip marriage of espousal benefits and related rights. I don''''''''t care either way. But I do care that the ideal of equality apply without exception.
______________________________________

I see your opint, but in any society, there will never be a such thing as "true equality". In order for society to run properly, rules must be made. Some people aren''''t going to like them, and someone is always going to be a victim of these rules. That is unfortunate.
Posted by tj217 at 12:35 PM : Nov 20, 2008

If g@ys are not to enjoy the same rights as the rest of the population and let the ideal of equality fail in this case, you must put forth a concrete, specific argument that society or individuals will be harmed by g@y marriage. And, frankly, in all the times I have come to a discussion like this, I have yet to see that argument. And don''t say there are costs to companies and government to extending these rights to g@ys because if that''s an issue then it''s more of an argument for not having these rights given to anyone else in the first place.
