Simply why I, and millions of other Catholics, no longer are ''practicing'' but rather are ''recovering''

Don''''t you dare compare a war primarily killing a few thousand really bad individuals and some of our brave men and women who SIGNED UP for this stuff to the murdering/killing of MILLIONS of completly innoccent human beings every year. Don''''t play the hypocrit argument either that is ridiculous. Just because you know one person who says this stuff but does the opposite (and you "claim" to do right thing, odds are you don''''t it is the internet, for one of you there are a thousand Christians who adopt, get over yourself)

Forgive them for they know not what they do....

Ok would you rather talk about a manufactured war by your Republican God Bush? You know, the guy who made up a war for oil and is directly responsible for the deaths of over 4000 troops, over 600,000 Iraqi civilians and the displacement of over 2 million Iraqis?

This is the same guy who said God told him to be president.

Here''s some news for you thumpers, God will judge and God will forgive---no one is looking for approval from your ilk.

Not many of us are for using abortion as birth control, but if there is risk to the mother or the child or both then it should be pro-choice---

You need to get over yourself.

Fools everyone of them. If you are a Christian and vote for a pro abortion candidate you have sinned. Bottom line. Going against somethink that should be important to you. If you are anytype of Christian at all. And you will be judged. Not by me or anyone else here on earth. But God. Don''t you dare compare a war primarily killing a few thousand really bad individuals and some of our brave men and women who SIGNED UP for this stuff to the murdering/killing of MILLIONS of completly innoccent human beings every year. The first mistake would be, of course, calling a War Hawk a pro-life candidate. He just prefers to kill them after they are born. Sheesh!

Great Post "Liberalme". I''''m pro-choice. And have adopted three children in my lifetime. Ask the pro-lifers how many THEY have adopted.

Hypocrites. Every one of them.

how can anyone call themselves pro life and support a war (re-electing bush) that has killed over 1 million civilians and almost 5000 of our troops. You may be pro-fetus but you are not even close to pro-life. Jesus knows the difference

And don''t forget these same people support the death penalty. In may countries in Europe where abortion is not so controversial, there is no death penalty so our system is somewhat of an anomaly.

Capital punishment, of course, traces back to the ancient practice of stoning. Even back then, I don''t think Christians were ever pro-life in every respect.

The fact that "prayers, reading scripture or performing works of charity" are identified as penance (punishment?) speaks to the wholly unchristian character and moral bankruptcy of this individual and/or church.
