The last time I checked, the Catholic Church, or at least its clergy, had lost credibility in the moral leadership department (pedophilia scandal). Perhaps this priest should worry about cleaning up his own house before he tries to tell the rest of us how to behave. THERE ARE ALOT OF HYPOCRACY AMONG THOSE WHO CRY ABORTION IS A CRIME AND SIN BLUH BLUH . THEY ARE SUPOSEDLY PROTECTING THE UNBORN BUT WHEN THAT UNBORN BECOMES A CHILD OF WEDLOCK TO A TEEN MOTHER IN POWERTY, THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE HELP FOR THE MOTHER AND THE CHILD.

WE HAVE ALOT OF CHILDREN LIVING IN POWERTY WHO DO NOT HAVE HEALTH CARE, FOOD AND A DECENT ENVIRONMENT TO GROW UP. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SHOULD HAVE THE PRIORITY NO THE FETUS.
DOGMATIC RELIGION FEED ON FEAR AND SOMETIMES ON FALSE HOPE, SO THE CLERGY CAN HAVE A FREE RIDE AND GET FAT AT THE EXPENSE OF MASSES. THEY ALWAYS PLUG INTO PEOPLE''S EMOTIONS AND NEVER TO WISDOM AND RATIONALITY.

TO HAVE A BELIFE AND FAITH OF ANY SORT IS GOOD BUT NOT THROUGH FEAR AND BRAIN WASH.

This priest should be defrocked. He reportedly told parishioners they committed a a "mortal sin" by voting for Obama. Another racist religious radical in a collar preaching hate. Makes Rev. Wright look sane.

When I was a child, we went to church frequently and my father was an elder in the First Christian Church. I was taught fear---that I might be tortured for eternity in h*ll and guilt, and shame. Things were fine until life really tested me and then I totally lost faith. Then I found a higher power and my life has been an incredible spiritual journey since. Dogma is just wrong and most of it is based on ancient pagan beliefs---rather than what Christ taught, which was "fear not, ye are Gods, forgiveness and love." The way we will solve abortion is when we change our society---not criminalizing it. Obama will help change our society for the better and as we grow spiritually and in love and truth, problems like abortion will just melt away.
