Gays, Advocates Encouraged To Tell Co-Workers And Neighbors Why Their Votes Matter
- A doctor is in the business of treating his patients, not pushing an agenda. Frankly, I would not want to use a doctor who had some kind of personal beef with me. On the other hand, being in business is about serving your customers, not your belief system. If that does not set well with you, get out of the business.

Norichard cranium, you do not have to serve anyone anytime they want you to just because you are in business. McDonalds will not serve you if you are not dressed properly, Disneyland will not let you in on Halloween if you are wearing a mask, bars will not serve you if you have had too much to drink. You do not have to go out of business if you do not want to serve someone.
On the otherhand, a lez couple went to a Dr. who would not help them get implanted, then sued the Dr. while going to another Dr. for the service. It was all a guise to get to push their beliefs onto others or make them pay. it worked, the Dr. had to pay $$millions$$. Is that right to you void? - Reply to this comment
- I truly feel sorry for your kids that they have a father who''''s bigoted, ignorant and seems full of hate of g-ay people, because to pass that onto your children is a form of child abuse. So sad.

Once again you prove your lack of thought and intelligence by attacking someone who asks you a question that you cannot answer.
Now go back to making the slurpees and get off the computer. - Reply to this comment

I agree with you there but that is not the only front we are being atacked on.
You are so funny, you can play with another persons screen name... how smart are you!! - Reply to this comment
- The bad that you seemingly seek to avoid or prevent is purely a judgment call on your part. Another might not consider them bad things. But until such time as it actually harms you, you have nothing to say about it.

What a dipstick. Saying I have to wait til you think it harms me to do something about it is like saying I have to wait until I get robbed once to lock the doors. It is already happening and if you do not want to deal with it or if you are one of the perps doing the terrible things then step out of your own conceit and do what it right for others, isn''t that what you want someone else to do for you? - Reply to this comment

It is not about the marriage. There are more things that it will cause and none are good I am afraid.

Schools can and do teach it to even as young as kids in kindergarten, without letting the parents know it, and the parents cannot stop the schools from teaching ggay marriage is right. If I do not believe it is right then I should have the choice, short of taking my kids out of school, to have it not taught. Suprise gayy-day and visits to a lez-wedding will become more and more typical.

What schools teach is a whole political chit-storm unto itself. Educators in general do seem to believe that they are the best qualified to do what they do and therefore mere parents (constituents, customers, etc.) should not be allowed to interfere. It is much like what you are trying to do/say about marriage.
On the other hand, say, hypothetically that you are a die-hard creationist. Try getting discussions of evolution removed from any encyclopedia.
It is parents%u2019 responsibility to impart their morality to their children. Beyond that, you do them more harm than good trying to insulate them from things that you find offensive. First, you cannot protect them forever. Eventually they are going to see whatever it is that you are trying to hide from them. Second, what if your kid is gay? Look at the damage you will have done to him. - Reply to this comment

Regardless what you may believe spiritually, how does same-*** marriage harm you in
any way?
Posted by VoidMaster
Void, it is not about marriage. Once marriage is legal then it can be the deciding factor in much other wrongdoing.
-You can now sue a doctor for not impregnating your same -sexx spouse due to their own personal beliefs. Even if there is another Dr. willing and able to do it, you can sue the one who will not do it.

- To guysdigdirt: perhaps you should change your name to imadirtbag. If you can''t find the answer to anything that I''ve said within our postings about making same *** marriage equal, then there''s no hope for you. I truly feel sorry for your kids that they have a father who''s bigoted, ignorant and seems full of hate of g-ay people, because to pass that onto your children is a form of child abuse. So sad.

- Discrimination of any kind is wrong. No one should be discriminated against because they''''re different than you or me. Even you can see that, that would be wrong.

Making boys go into boys lockerooms and girls into girls lockerooms is not discrimination. The dictionary defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman. There is not discrimination there. If you feel differently then tell me why. Dont tell me how I will feel if one of my kids is gayy, or what will happen in some place in San Fran or anything like that. just answer the two questions.
-How will getting married make same-sexx couple equal.
-How is keepig the defenition of marriage the same as the dictionary has always had it lead to discrimination?
Flat out answer the questions or admit you are wrong!! - Reply to this comment
- AVIGIL,
ANSWER THE QUESTION.
HOW DOES BEING MARRIED MAKE SAME-SEXX PEOPLE EQUAL. STOP SPINNING AND STOP ALL THE *** AND BACK UP YOUR STATEMENT!! - Reply to this comment
- If one of your kids turns out to be gay and one day wants to marry his or her partner but they can''''t in their state, but your other kids can, what sort of equality does that teach anybody?
IF ONE OF MY BOYS WANTS TO GO INTO THE GIRLS LOCKEROOM IN HIGHSCHOOLD I DONT LET THEM DO THAT EITHER, BUT THEY ARE NOT MISSING ANY EQUALITY.
Some rights are good for others while others aren''''t?
WHAT RIGHT? WHAT DO THE SAME-SEXX COUPLE NOT HAVE THAT STRAIGHT COUPLES HAVE? A WORD SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR A MEANING IT IS NOT.
WRONG! People need to let people be who they are, love who they want to love and do what they want.
CALLING A SHOVEL A RAKE DOES NOT MAKE IT A RAKE, EVEN IF YOU CHANGE THE NAME OF THE TOOL, IT DOES NOT MAKE THE SHOVEL A RAKE.
Judgement should not come from you or anyone else. If you believe in God, well then, he''''ll be the one who will judge us as individuals, not a pesky, bigoted, ignorant man like yourself. NOW IF SOMEONE DISAGREES WITH YOU YOU WANT TO CALL THEM NAMES? YOU ARE SO SMART, INTELLIGENT, CRAFTY, A PERSON OF GREAT WORTH.

- Oh guysdigdirt, your ignorance is alive and well. And there''s no sense in trying to convince you otherwise. But just answer me this, wouldn''t you want to same equality for all of your kids when they become young adults? Wouldn''t you want them to have the same rights as everyone else. What if someone took away their rights to play at your local playground, because, oh I don''t know... because they were Jewish. Wouldn''t you think that would be wrong? It''s just a simple question.

No, you said this;
What if one of you kids said, "Dad... I''''m gay". Wouldn''''t you want the same treatment and equality that your other kids will get? Or would you prefer they get the sh-it beat out of them and possibly murdered because of their indifference?
Posted by Avigil2
So it seems you are saying they will treated equally or beat up and killed. In the paragraph before that you said they needed to be able to marry or they cannot be equal. You still avoid answering the question about how they will reach equality if they can marry.
Stop your spin, you are losing a battle you cannot win, you are wrong and try and hide behind your spin and words, you are losing and I am sure you are used to it. - Reply to this comment

Again, are you kidding me with this stuff? Where the h-ell have you taken your kids to see any of this? Have you been hanging out in the Castro District in SF? Or have gone to a gay pride event in NYC?

- Dear guysdigdirt,
Your logic (or lack there of) in thinking is pretty scary and so way off. Case in points:
1) Yes it does concern me, if you wanted to marry an 8 year old boy, it concerns me. If you wanted to marry three other people, it would concern me. If you are saying you want to marry another person of the same gender it concerns me.
Are you kidding me with this stuff? I don''t even know where to start with this.

Same goes with heteros. Children shouldn''t see any display of gross public affection. Any groping in a public place shouldn''t be allowed. And it doesn''t matter if gaays are married or not. They are still going to hold hands and you will still have to explain to your child why they do it. - Reply to this comment
