Hit a tall person day was ok I guess. Funny how no one cared that tall kids were being abused the day before the jewish kids. I find it difficult to accept the "what is and isn''t PC" when selectivity such as this is openly demonstrated.

For those uptight & stoic types that consider ethnic joke out of bounds I would remind you of those historic & inspirational words of Sergeant Hulka---"Lighten up Francis."
One of my best friends is Jewish and he tells me some of the most over the top jokes about Jews (far worse than anything seen here). He is confidant & proud of heritage is in no way threatened by jokes. What he really gets offended at is when someone else feels the need to be offended for him.

This sort of conduct is unacceptable. Ay students who particapated needs to be suspended and forced to do several months of after school community service. Any adult working at the school who had knowledge and di not intervene needs to be job hunting.

The kids need to be talked to by someone smarter than their parents and teachers, obviously. But, dumb question here: how do we know that there are 35 Jewish students? I mean, if we know there are 35, ok, and we can count the number who were struck, ok, but HOW DO WE KNOW THERE ARE 35 Jewish kids? Do we have a LIST? Do we just count big noses on the class photo? Or the number of Steinbergers in the phone book or WHAT? When the people reporting the ''news'' are unable to note such obvious signs of bigotry and dehumanization we are in trouble again...have a chat with the anti-defamation league. Those folks are usually pretty understanding and helpful.

Although this can be construed as kids having a bit of fun which is what it was. Those people proclaiming the beginnings of the fourth reich should take a step back and remember the stupid things they did whilst they were in 6th Grade.

Kids having fun no more no less

Your intolerant comments are the epitome of the ignorance of middle america - compare the history of the defamation of jews to other groups and obviously there is a HUGE need for concern about his type of behavior in our youth.
