Obama is not qualified to be President regardless of where he was born.

Can''t believe people are still making this argument! Please go to factcheck.org ... both parties agree this is a fair-minded web site holding both candidates accountable and dispelling all such myths and untruths.

Black co-workers have told me this and that when Barry is elected they will own me and my property.
Proof enough? I only have to be told this once before I make sure my shotguns are oiled and loaded.

I half suspect these were liberals trying to make Republicans look bad. When ever you see this low brow stuff you have to wonder. I think most Republicans are more sophisticated than this but Democrats trying to make Republicans look bad would do this. It wouldn''''t be the first time.

Republicans and sophisticated in the same sentence??? Isn''t that an oxymoron like some of you republican morons?

The Secret Service and FBI should take over this investigation. Hate crimes are against the law in America. The guilty should see jail time.

Here is proof that it wasn''t a republican from western NC.

A true republican from that area would have kept the meat and taken it to the next NASCAR race and BBQd it! Haven''t any of you ever heard of "sbear" ribs???

I know who did this. It was done by liberals trying to make McCain supporters look bad.

Well people are vadalizing yards and removing signs from peoples'' yards in the DC Metro area that are voting for McCain so it seems to be going both ways. Funny you only hear about those vandalizing Obama signs. However this may not be a shot at people voting for Obama.

Shooting an animal to make a political statement is cruel and cowardice behavior!! That is the stuff that terrorists are made of!! If someone did that believing they were making a patriotic expression, then they were showing how ignorant they are about the civil principals of this country.

At some point, those responsible will have to grow up and learn how to disagree with others and still give their respect.

Even the Taliban would have eaten that bear.

This is why political leaders ask the NRA to police theirselves and behave more sensible and respectful when facing disagreement.

A rifle is a terrible thing to put in the hands of a terror tactic protestor.

You are a moron. If you are not born in the USA it does not matter where your parents were born..... you are not a citizen and can not run for President. Democrats only want to follow the rule of law when they agree with it! Obama is not qualified to be President regardless of where he was born.

harbinger....As much as I hate to, I agree with you to a large degree. But I try to remain optomistic in view of the situation. It''s true that we can''t heal all this mess quickly but we have to start somewhere.

Note that they shot a ''baby'' bear - those are cowards who can''t face an adult bear or human... and they had to use a gun instead of a bow... not real hunters.

Explain that one!! Oh yeah I forgot, you all want to give them some more tax breaks%u2026 Now, that is stupid!!

I am being told by my black co-workers how they are "going to own me" when this is done. And they are threating to riot in the streets if Barry is not elected. Now these are good law abiding Democrats, right? Just like the ones in Raleigh, NC back in 2004, right?

Posted by gl84685 at 01:04 PM : Oct 21, 2008

That sounds like a scare tactic lie right there, buddy. But let''s say you were told that. So what? You want us to fear the election of Obama because you have people who say you are about to get owned? If this is a land of equality, then it goes for more than whites, right? This will be your cry every time a black runs for the office, which means you would never accept or be ready for a black President, because you are afraid that one man in office will somehow care about "owning you" in nowheresville.

gl85645.....Sorry pal but I just don''t believe you. I have lots of black friends and while they are excited at the prospect of electing a black president I have not heard a single statement even close to what you post. There have been other republican trolls who have posted the "riot in the streets" *********. Not true. And I have heard the claim that "blacks will take over the white house" as well. All this is just more ********* being spread by people who are just trying to throw anything they can think of out there in hopes of scaring the American people. Well, we aren''t afraid. That old trick just won''t work anymore.

I actually live in NC and this is absolutely embarrasing. This is a hate crime and a threat of assasination against Barak Obama.

If they were overjoyed by stapling Obama posters on the bear cub then shooting the bear in the head then this is a vile and explosive nature that has no bounds.

It is a very thin line from this event to harming people.

This is a direct result for the inciting rhetoric of Palin/McCain et al.

Hey blondchic:

You want to see hatred. Better keep an eye how the streets will be filled with hatred if Barry loses. In fact, there is already a movement of fear being spread around as warning that riots will occur if McCain and Palin win.

I love how you myopic droolers convince yourself that the person responsible is Republican.

Is that cherry or grape Kool-Aid?

Republicans are smarter people that Democrats. They refuse to believe in the liberal media that feeds them full of baloney in the false name of "change." Posted by textingbabe7 at 12:28 PM : Oct 21, 2008

Uhmmm. That would be "than", as in, "Republicans are smarter people THAN Democrats'' (or nix the word ''people'' entirely as redundant and implied) The other line makes no sense. I think you meant to write "They refuse to believe in the liberal media that feeds them full of baloney UNDER THE FALSE PRETENSE of "change."

As to your observation: Yes, we can certainly see why YOU would think Republicans are smarter. Sarah Palin is one of your best and brightest--no doubt you used yourself as the barometer to come to that conclusion.
