Poradicus you say quote "I am Pentecostal and your not suppose to live for the world or the things in it." you also say "it teaches Christians to mind their own business". I''m confused if you are really Pentecostal then why are you judging christians.

It is true, the christian folks I know all see no immorality in homosexuality and are fine with gay teachers, preachers, and marriages.

-These type of "Christians" are referred to as heresies, otherwise known as false prophets, false teachers, in the Scriptures.

They aren''t really Christians at all. They just claim the title. This is all covered in the Scriptures. These people who you keep claiming are "Christians" that you know haven''t read the Word, that''s for sure.

He''s your god not mine, and if his followers where made in his image, and based on how they act and treat others then I''ll never have anything to do with him. I don''t dwell in the past, and I''m fine with my future because I know I will join my ancestors when I die, and we will ride the wind together.
And don''t waste your gods time and yours praying for me.

I''''m predisposed to tangling with right wing christians, because of the way they treated my Native American ancestors.

The courts should not legislate. The voters should have a say in this and the CT legislature is to stacked with liberals only voting ''yes'' for a constitutional convention in November gives the voters the right to decide this issue so it is fair to all.

Which makes it all the more absurd when these people come here and try to hide their own prejudices behind "Jesus said..."

Then the "christian" friends you know don''t see and are not really christians.

Mark 7:20-23

20 He went on: "What comes out of you is what defiles you. 21 For from within, out of your hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile you."

I''m glad Connecticut allowed same-*** marriages, its a good thing it teaches Christian to mind their own business , it also means people are moving forward. One thing these ther so called faiths forgot to read was that no one has the right to judge. I am Pentecostal and I know one thing it says your not suppose to live for the world or the things in it. It is considered abomination. Your job is to win souls to church, not put your brothers and sisters down, or blamphasize them. You so called christians are hippocrites and not christians.

You only follow the Bible when you want to, and when it doesn''t fit your status-quo you throw the scriptures out and don''t obey them. Did you know in Corrinthians it says your not suppose to watch idle and moving objects and be in pleasure of it. Meaning you can''t watch tv, movies, or go on the internet and look at porn. You guys just don''t get it, stop judging. God is the judge and you know this in Revalation, he will judge those people whomever is written in the book of lie. You have no right to judge them, stay out of the world events if your soo Christian and start reading the Bible better. Or be dumb and just do what you want but your just as much of an abomination as the people who are lost in this world. Win souls to church don''t put them down..

jankebenz: "2 Timothy 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction."

Are you intentionally distorting or just ignorant of the Bible? First, those are not words of Jesus but Paul to Timothy. Second, you selectively cut out the key part of that sentence: "I charge you in the presence of Christ Jesus who is to judge the living and the dead..." and later "be unfailing in patience and teaching"

The key is Jesus is to judge. Judging is specifically not part of what Paul said Christians should be doing, very clear in context.
