LOL, GetRealTex is a republican troll who would stifle the scientists and economists just as Bush did. He does not understand the reality about oil and gas reserves and the worldwide demand. He forgets that China and India have a much large population than the USA and that they are now driving more and more cars...getting their piece of the materialism we have enjoyed. Keep believing your fantasy devoid of all scientific evidence, Mr. Bush clone, that we can Drill Baby Drill our way to oil independence! Lol, you my friend are not worthy of further debate. You are a Bush clone! Remember, he too stifled the scientists and mocked the economists, like you!

Credit where credit is due - GW Bush DID ruin this country and IS responsible for this economic mess we are in.

Oh, how the truth must be hurting you.

Get over it and wake the heck up.

It''s really about a difference in philosophy. The republicans have it backwards! They insist on de-regulating business while regulating individual%u2019s bedrooms, women%u2019s uterus%u2019s, as well as all civil liberties. On the other hand, democrats regulate business (so that we don%u2019t have to bail out AIG%u2019s at taxpayer expense%u2026don%u2019t have ENRON%u2019s) while protecting individual civil liberties! Democrats are for CHOICE in all matters; whereas, republicans are for more torture - Abu Ghraib - Guantanamo - killing - Lying - slander - Denial lack of accountability - SPIN baby SPIN! In total violation of biblical teaching, that states flatly that divorce is allowable only for adultery, McCain ditched Carol and married Cindi; hence, McCain and Cindi are committing adultery before our eyes. Bristol Palin, the daughter of McCain%u2019s VP nominee, is an unwed, teenage pregnant mother having committed adultery in violation of Biblical teaching. So, if sin is the reason the republicans impeached Clinton, then, John McCain should be jailed for the treatment he gave his first wife! At least Bill and Hillary salvaged their marriage and stayed true to their vow of "in sickness or in health!" McCain-Palin=Adultery First! McCain-Palin=Broker than the 10 commandments! Too bad McCain-Palin actions are in direct contrast to their Christian right-wing holier than thou attitudes and policies.

As a POW, McCain gave out more than "name, rank, and serial number!" McCain gave the enemy the location of his base as well as the target he was going to bomb. He also told them his father was the famous Admiral McCain. In return, for giving out confidential, classified information in violation of the US military Code of Conduct, McCain was given preferential treatment by his captors. Upon McCain%u2019s POW release and return to the states, within 1 month McCain divorced his first wife, Carol (she was a former model), because in the 3rd year of her loyal waiting for her POW husband and father of their 3 children to return, on Christmas eve while in route to deliver Christmas presents to family friends she was injured in a car wreck that required 20 operations and left her with weight gain and a limp. McCain-Palin=Adultery First! ANY MAN that could go to Kenya as a US senator and support Raila Odinga, his Arabic/Muslim cousin who torched and macheted the Christians to gain control of the government IS TOTALLY INSANE!

Sorry but even the President could not turn the country communist or socialist by himself. For you to suggest that this is what would happen is absurd and beyond rational thinking.

Andy BTW you over simplify the violence in Kenya, which was horrible, but tribal and ethnic origins fueled much of the violence more so than religion.

It is impossible for America to drill its way to independence from foreign oil! That is a fact!

The stone age did not end because of a lack of stones. In like manner, our dependence on oil should not end because of a lack of oil. Leadership is needed in government. Obama stands alone as the candidate advocating a $15 billion per year investment over 10 years in alternative energy (Wind, Solar, Bio-diesel, Geo-thermal, Fuel Cell technologies). Only $15 billion per year! Yet, we flush $12 billion per month into a hole in IRAQ

When we went to war with Panama, we got Noriega and that was it. Only an idiot would try to change an entire regime, when, all ya had to do was pluck out Saddam as we did Noriega if that really was the issue. The "surge" was not necessary, cause, the reduction in violence has been from the fact that we "hired" all of Saddam''s former party members (The Awakening). We could have done that without any troops. BUSH/MCCAIN/FAILIN are slap idiots!

Let''s see - GW Bush failed time after time as a businessman, and had to be bailed out by his daddy.

And now that he''s been President for the past 8 or so years, this economy is in ruins.

I think we know where we went wrong - it was electing GW Bush as President.

Despite what GetRealTex wants us all to believe, the responsibility lies with GW Bush and the Republicanazis.

OBAMA IS FOR THE FREE MARKETS OF CAPITALISM, constrained by the conscience of sensible government regulation! Obama understands that the government is just as essential to capitalism as is the consumer; and, he understands the government%u2019s role to enhance and create new industries and markets when the private sector is failing to do so. For example, Obama sees that the markets are not "laissez faire capitalism" when it comes to our energy industries. This is evident by the abnormally high gas prices that are hurting the consumer. He understands far better than Bush/McCain that our way to independence is through alternative energies, such as FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGY, BIO-MASS, BIO-DIESEL, WIND, SOLAR, BIO-THERMAL TECHNOLOGIES. Obama knows how to unleash NASA again, unfettered by the sinister repression of free scientific thought, the BUSH/McCain sought to SILENCE and edit the scientists. Obama respects the opinions of ECONOMISTS, unlike Bush/McCain/Palin, who tried to pander with gas holiday gimmicks. OBAMA 08, YES WE CAN!!

McCain/Failing ticket is a vote for more of Bush economics, more of Bush foreign policy ("The Bush Doctrine"), and more Bush ethics of denial, secrecy, and lack of accountability. Expect more Enrons, bailouts, and increased debt to China. Long gone will be the days when Bill Clinton created a surplus for the government. Heck, McCain brings a VP nominee already embroiled in investigation for abuse of power. His solution is to berate the investigative process, which was started before she was picked to be his nominee. Sarah Failin has learned all she needs to know, can you say EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE? What a Crockpot of fecal matter!

Sheesh, can you imagine how bad the economy would be if McCain became President?

He''d make GW Bush look like a genius.

And imagine if Palin became President - she''d make McCain look like a genius.

I say no to both McCain and Palin - Obama is the only chance this nation has.

FIDELITY is a true American value! INFIDELITY has plagued our politics for too long. Face reality, Obama does not suffer from the INFIDELITY PLAGUE! He actually loves Michelle and his two daughters. No one in America doubts that Barack and Michelle radiate that good old time kinda love! That''s what I wouldn''t mind looking at for the next 4 years! Not 72 year old McCain and his Pre-nup wife! Not Failing, the pork barrel queen in lipstick, her underage, unwed, pregnant daughter.

LOL! Drill, baby, drill...another gimmick! Exxon Mobil has no reason to drill, baby, drill... that would only help the price of oil to fall further. Exxon is making the largest profits in US history, which explains why they won''''t drill on the land they already have leased. Exxon Mobil won''''t build additional refineries, either. Why would they, that will only help the price of oil to fall further. Instead, Exxon is using its record profits to "buy back its own stock." Exxon promotes itself as an "ENERGY" company; but, they are really only an oil and gas company. If they were truly an "ENERGY" company, they would invest in acquisitions of companies that are researching alternative energies. Yet, as the bailouts have shown, industry is unable to regulate itself or to make the right decisions. This is why we need real leadership in government. We need Obama/Biden 08

In terms of philanthropy, you would think Exxon would be at the top of the list for "giving back" to its communities and stakeholders (which is more than just the "shareholders"); yet, Exxon is stingy! Compare Exxon''s world-wide giving to that of Murphy Oil (google the Eldorado Promise) to see an oil company that understands "philanthropy". Under Bush/Cheney, Exxon''s profits doubled from 1999 to 2000, the moment Bush took office, and, have only sky rocketed since. (NOTE: In google search, type in THE ELDORADO PROMISE to see differentiation within the oil and gas industry. Murphy oil understands the term PHILANTHTROPY)

Sure he will. And YOU are part of it that will allow it.

A democrapic Congress, a democrapic Administration, and a democrapic cabinet, is a huge disaster just waiting to happen!

If republicans had their way, we would be required by law to follow all of the 10 commandments! Poor McCain wouldn''t have been able to exercise CHOICE to ditch his first wife, Carol, for non-adulterous reasons. Sarah Failing''s daughter and her under age lover would be jailed with a scarlet letter on her forehead!
