If peopel would stop using power, we would not have the power companies around. I say let them shut the power off. That want do any good, Congress would just bail them out.

People keep talking about a bad economy but just the other day I was caught in a traffic jam caused by mobs of people in large vehicles going to an athletic contest. Later on, I took my wife to a restaurant and there was so many customers there was a 45 minute wait. So I went to another restaurant where people were standing outside the door waiting to get in. We went home and had a sandwich.

With no government control under Bush, the rule of the game has been keep raising your prices until something breaks. Well folks, what broke is the economy when the middle class stopped paying the bills.

When I was a kid I was on a frozen lake with a friend. I watched my friend slowly walk toward the edge of the ice near open water. He got about five feet from the edge before he fell through. After climbing out of the water exposing hmself to 20 degree weather, I asked him what he was thinking. He said: I wanted to see how close to the edge I could go.

That kid grew up to be George Bush (just kidding)
