The truth emerges about Fannie Mae, Obama and the Democrats. - Reply to this comment
- I''m glad the truth is finally coming out that it''s the democrats who are to blame for this mess. Their horrible mismanagement of Fannie and Freddie (and turning it into a democrat ATM) has finally come home to roost. Clinton, Obama, Dodd, Barney Frank, Raines - all these clowns are guilty. God help us if Obama is elected!

- On this mornings news everyone is now saying they hope this works. All week we heard we needed this plan to fix the economy, now it is just hope?. I guess the American people were scared into saving all the fat cats. CBS needs to publish the roll call on the vote so we can vote these slimey politicians out of Washington.

- Any difference between Obama, McCain, Bush and congress dissappeard when Obama supported the bail out bill. If he was going to change washinton, is against big banks and wall streeet, and is so good at reaching across the aisle, why did he not stand with the small group of Republicans who said no to the bail out. He could have formed his cabinet before the election and won in a landslide. Democrats will finally have to admit that their leaders are up to their elbows in poop.

- Those brave house republicans that stood against the tide of garbage that passed this bill should be memorialized. Their first act should be to present a bill that recogonizes the Wells Fargo purchase of Wacovia and immediately reduce the 700 billion dollar bill by 15.4 billion that tax payers do not have to pay for Wacovia. If numb nuts, poop for brains politicians in washington gave this mess some time to shake itself out a lot more tax payer dollars could have been saved. Personally, I believe some enraged citizen will violently remove Nancy Pelosi from office and when that person does, I hope I can be on the jury that sets the person free with a not guilty verdict.

- As the nation watches unpresidented chaos in congress, and families everywhere clutch their children in fear of whats to come, Nanci Peloci emerges again all smiles, posing for the camera, as if the bill passed in the house of representatives will restore the economy and confidence in the House of representatives. This women is a menstrual period and she should be tossed out like the used tampon she is.

- The passage of this Bill clearly violates the Law.

These people are cashing out on America. They are stealing every last cent they can, so they can transfer it offshore to be protected from the economic collapse we all will be living through by next summer. "This sucker is going down" and Americans are mute as the propaganda machine media blares ''support suicide'', and hushes critics and protests everywhere. Does anyone know what the word "representative" means? Obviously our "representatives" don''t have any issue in telling their consituency, we can all go to hell and probably will, now.
What do these people have to do to get Americans to defend themselves from their assault and robbery, start killing us, round us up and put us in camps? What?
They''re grabbing the money and running, suckers. - Reply to this comment

- Article I Sect. 7 of The United States Constitution clearly states: All Bills for raising Revenue shall "ORIGINATE" in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
The passage of this Bill clearly violates the Law.
Also, there is a requirement of a 2/3''s vote to pass a Bill in the House of Representatives. Even as the House of Representative, the Senate and the Executive Office chose to violate Legal Procedure; it still didn''t overcome the 2/3''s majority of the House for approval. Where did this perversion of a 2/3''s margin come from and just how long has it been going on? - Reply to this comment
- This is but a drop in the bucket. Now that big business knows that all they have to do to suck the life blood out of the American public is to crank up the publicity and lobby machines. They know that congress is extremely malleable and the public is asleep at the wheel. When their profits were taken away by their own action they cried like a small child. To the rescue came congress with a a huge pacifier laden with unhealthy pork spurred on by the resources of a huge lobby. What happened? Is America a huge bloated cash cow to be milked by anyone with a lobby( including China ). Has our system broken down? Is America so sated by their cell phone having, car driving, over eating, energy consuming frenzy that they will accept any mediocre government in order to perpetuate their bloated consumption? How can the waste and inefficiency represented by a bailout of the least deserving segment of our society be good for America? This will not be the end. It is a self perpetuating situation. Wake up, if you do not take charge of this vehicle a crash is inevitable.

Anytime that Health Care comes up, they debate for a couple of days, then let the whole matter die a slow death.
And ditto the taxpayers....
Obama talks of change, well he''s right. But the change coming to America, is not what he had in mind, I don''t think anyways.

- The way I see this is; Yes! they had to approve this bill (It is a neccessary evil); what hurts is that the hard working Middle Class Americans has to bail out the present party (Republicans)and Wall Street (Bankers) because of eight years of greed, fraugilant loans, and mis appropiation of Funds to get the United States out of the Red; It is time for change - "Go O-bama"; Any Questions?

- What a joke of a country - you tell ALL the other countries of the world that they must not intervene, that market forces must be allowed to prevail, and then you do the opposite. You tell Russia et al that they must respect the territory of other countries, and yet you invade several and bomb others. You are a stupid joke america, and now you have sold your soul. Perhaps you thought you were already in such serious debt that another $700 bn wouldnt make any difference. Stupid mistake. Now you really are destroyed as those you have relentlessly provoked now OWN you. Stupid stupid america - good riddance to a stupid superpower.
