I''''m sure that not every congressman nor senator have read this entire bill. There wasn''''t much time to do so. Something this important needs to be read by everyone !

It was a short bill until the congressmen and senators got hold of it.

Well, Well ,Well, No one can see the true picture. The Government, (us) Bush or any party does NOT run this country. Just LOOK at the bail OUT. Who made them run like mad men to bail them out? Who pulls the strings? Wall street has been running this country for decades. No matter who you vote for it will be wall street that wins. WAKE UP PEOPLE! The rich run this country and Bush knows this and so does congress but we seem to be blind to that fact!

As an indication of how sick this country has become we only need to consider the power over our government, our lives and most certainly our health that the Pharmaceuticals have wielded. They have paid off and control decision making appertaining to all health matters nationally. They run the FDA, they decide how much we will pay and what is available to us in our hour of need and they have rendered our democracy impotent. They like other corporates have controlled this nation for far too long, ably abetted by crooked politicians and those we employ to serve us. The net result is the mess we now find ourselves immersed in, which sadly may take two decades to resolve. We must put the fear of God into these Crooks, starting NOW !

With its rule of three of cheap money, free markets and double digit profit margins, American turbo capitalism has set economic standards worldwide for the past quarter century. Now it is proving to be nothing but a giant snowball system, upsetting the US''''s global political status as it comes crashing down. Every bank that US Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is currently forced to bail out with American government funds damages America''''s reputation around the world.

And the conservatives that championed this cr@p have the nerve to call Social Security a Ponzi scheme.

You''''re an idiot---this all happened on Bush''''s watch---he and his minions are and have always been in the pockets of corporations---wonder how Haliburton is doing?

Democoms make a problem and get Bush to try to bail them out. But who has the most to gain, of course the empty suit wants the bail out. His financial inner circle caused the problem, and they are standing to loose millions. James Johnson was head of Freddie Mac for 7 years and took millions, and was head of Barack%u2019s VP search team, Franklin Reigns was head of Freddie Mac for 5 years and took $90 million out of it, Jamie Gerlin took $26 million from Fannie Mae, Barack got $126K, democom Dodd got millions, these are all Baracks financial inner circle advisors that could be running this country. Vote for Barack for change, he will change your hard earned money into his and his inner circles money.

Cut Baracks financial backers off at the knees, vote no bail out.

his blue suit a little baggy....

Oh NO!!! Anything but a baggy suit!!! IMPEACH!! IMPEACH!!

Seems in my lifetime any term as president adds untold years to the appearance of every person to ever hold the office. The ''weight of the world'' is a reality for each and every one. I have the highest respect for anyone that achieves that office and sympathy for what it must take out of them personally to hold that position. Regardless of affiliation or public opinion.

For weeks, Bush ignored the crisis, insisting on the strength of the market and telling Americans: Everything will be fine.
Posted by Hacker11001

He should of kept ignoring it, was caused by the democoms that ran Freddie mac and Fannie mae, let the American people deal with and vote no Barack to stop allowing to continue the democom direction.

our democracy is a total failure. No one running for election that voted for this bill should get one vote that would help send them back to the house. The only house they should see is under ground.

checkthepast ! This country is no better than either you mentioned. Corporate America has been our Dictator for many years. The Lobby control bent politicians and all those we employ jump on to the Gravy Train without fear of retribution. We are now a non entity and close to becoming no better than a Banana Republic. There are Non So Blind As Those Who Will Not See !

Think about that quote.

"People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people."

The one chance this country has, is a Government of National Coalition, employing the best people for the the desperate job ahead, whatever party they belong to.

We should refuse flately to vote for any of those up for election, including President. We have become a Nation overly impressed with Hype and Spin, we believe in BS and TV, we can no longer make an informed decision based on the truth.

The only person this week to utter a common sense statement was Hillary Clinton, when in agreeing to the Bail Out, said it should be on the condition that every Scam Mortgage should be re-written.

AND the only man who has been on the button and absolutely right and upfront all through the election run up as been Dr Ron Paul. Sadly America, we have missed a golden opportunity to get our severe and serious problems sorted out ---- OR HAVE WE ?

We have a few short weeks left, go choose the best people for the job, Forget Party Politics, they are BS!
