If Muslim men do such a wonderful job why is every Muslim country is a mess, with so much poverty, no agriculture, and they have to rely on hand outs form the west. Without any kind of safety nets, societal help, even food stamps cut backs, what do we expect would happen ??

It took me 11-1/2 years to get Texas CPS to step in with my niece. In that time, two more children were born.

Now all three are in foster care. A judge asked me a couple of weeks ago if I was prepared for my niece to "age out" of the system (she''s 13). They said it would be tough to find an adoptive family for her at her age.

I told her if CPS had done their job 11-1/2 years ago, we might be trying to find a home for a two-year-old, not a thirteen-year-old with a whole lot of issues.

The system IS broken.

The system''s been broken for years. Foster children are treated so badly by some foster parents.

Personally, I think those that are Pro-Life should spend more time working on caring for the children that already exist in our world that need help than the ones yet to be born.

There''s too many kids needing good families.. and a loving parent is a loving parent, whether they''re single, straight, gay or married. Foster and Adoptive parents should go through a back ground check, but also there needs to be more help for those that need it. My ex-husband and I went through hell to raise his oldest and middle child, and getting help, even with full medical, was frightening. The oldest was being treated for mental abuse by her birth mother, and the middle child had a few disabilities and was never taught to be self reliant at all.

I''m horrorified by this woman''s actions, and yet I wonder why she didn''t reach out for help of ANY kind if only for those three girls.

It has all happened in the western countries all at exactly the same time, why??? and how??? along with the media and hollywood being much to blame for the changes..the change seemed to be controlled..
Read the policies of the left winged governments and one will see where most of the problems come from and once again before you all kill me, the left wing is socialist which if you look it up it seems to be a twin of communism, different but the same, and didnt Marxist start socialism and communism and the Fabians are tied up there somwhere.. so folk before you blow my top, I suggest that you look all that up and tell me what you think.. We need not be too quick to judge. We do not know what this woman went through for her own personal struggles, the possible abuse from men or men driven institutions, or the imbalanced caused by societal-ecnomic hardships. When we do, we need compassion, not hate, we need undestanding, not "blame". Who do we blame for war ?

OldThought, you are dead right, but we are just as much to blame as we sat by and let the small minority take over the system so that now a child cant get a smack when they are naughty. And before everyone kills me, I am not talking about smacking every time the child looks like they are going to do something wrong but only as a last resort. I feel that taking somethings off them for a period is so wrong, it is mental abuse, they are in your bad books for all that time and they know that they are under a cloud. I just smacked my children and a small while later they got a cuddle and asked if they understood etc and it was all over and done with. Funny but people used to say how beautiful my children were, 4 boys and a girl, and now we travel all over the place together with their very well behaved children. We spend many hrs a week together and chat about their problems and happinesses. Yes we smacked them hard and we played with them and we laughed, we had lots of fun happy times, because they were such well behaved children we could go places and funny but people loved our children. Two were very bright and very strong willed, goodness knows how they would have growen up if brought up as children are today.
And oh, they all have very high positions in our society, hmmm yep smacking sure is bad eh...

The system is shattered, not just broken. Since the Gov''t offers up a good amount of cash for people to take these children, its become a breeding ground for criminals and creeps. I know that some people are not in it for the money, they truly do care for the kids they foster, but they are becoming a rarity. But, the Gov''t beleives they need to plant things in kids heads from birth that anything but a smile is abuse now, and kids get taken unjustly from parents, to be tossed into the system, while others are there because there parents shouldnt have ever had kids. Sad world we live in...I hope the surviving child is placed in a loving home and gets intense therapy.
