Bill Designed To Rescue Wall Street Is Shot Down, Sending Dow To Record Point Loss
- I am going to convert to Republican. Ride this f.u.c.k.e.r. into the ground! Show them whose country this is! Pay no attention to Bush scare tactics. Let it burn to the ground. We can set it up again without the criminals.

- When McCain decided to suspend his campaign last week, at a time when the bill was about to get ironed out, it sent a cold chill down my spine. I thought, "oh no, all hell is going to break loose now", and sure enough, my greatest fears realized this week. John McCain''s mock suspension of his campaign last week (in fact his campaign was still very much in motion) inserted presidential politics into the delicate negotiations and failed as leader of his party to rally support around the bill. McCain is the key catalyst that led to the crash today, wiping out 777 points from the Dow and over 1 trillion in market value. Today, he has the nerve and audacity to blame Barack Obama and the democrats for the bill falling through because they injected partisan politics into the process. John McCain is referring to the same Barack Obama who preferred to work behind the scenes to get the bill passed, who instead of placing blame came out to calm the nation and give us confidence, and the same democrats who provided the most yeas for the bill. John McCain stands apart from his party and is unable to get their support, he also stands apart in his line of logic - he is a true maverick because his ideas are so uniquely twisted. In the grand scheme of things, I guess I can overlook his irresponsible, politically driven VP pick and lies, but this result of his hail mary pass last week is TOO MUCH TO TAKE.

The actual truth is that morons like you who follow along like sheeple, ignoring the myriad tragic inconsistencies in the official story, many which defy logic and common sense, and who refuse to believe their own eyes when they see a steel-framed building obviously demolished with explosives fall at the rate of gravity - that make it possible for such things to occur.
You will never get a break because they know you will follow and never question.

- It''s amazing that more people don''t question what happenned on 911, especially considering that 90% of the American public understands that our government officials lie to us on a regular basis.
The official explanation defies physics and common sense, yet folks are just not ready to believe that the government executed this black-ops tragedy.
The unconvinced masses are the very reason the Bush/Cheney/Saudia crime syndicate have gotten away with this traitorous scheme.
That the official explanation is untrustworthy is beyond question. The only real question is how long will the real criminals who did it, get away with it.
Note: You''d think that on 911 the FBI would''ve been pretty busy what with airplanes crashing into buildings.
Apparently not too busy. Because they sent a team of agents to the gas station a mile and a quarter from the pentagon to confiscate the surveilance tapes ... arriving 7 minutes after the plane supposedly hit the pentagon .....
But not before the employees viewed the tapes and actually saw the missle that hit the pentagon ... and of course we''ve never been allowed to see that tape. - Reply to this comment

- amer1st, you may be a real believer in 9-11 theories, and some of them are not without merit, but you look like a simple troll flodding this forum about the 700B bailout with this off topic fringe rant. Take it to a story about conspiracies or something remotely germane?

- The underlying differences between the Republican and Democratic Parties boils down to a very simple thing. The Republicans believe that the power of the Government should be used, first of all, to help the rich and privileged people of this country. With them property comes first. The Democrats believe that the powers of the Government should be used to give the common man some protection, and a chance to make a decent living. With the Democrats the people come first.
The Democratic Party is a political organization that has a heart--it cares about the people--it cares about all the people, rich and poor alike. The Republican Party is ruled by a little group of men who have calculating machines where their hearts ought to be.
Sometimes the Republicans aid their clientele by special favors--like the rich man''s tax cut bill which was passed by the 80th Congress over my veto--or like their attempts to give away the Nation''s oil resources to all the big oil interests.
Sometimes the Republicans aid their special friends by doing nothing--by a philosophy of each man for himself and the devil take the hindmost. That''s why they''ve fought such measures as minimum wage laws, social security, and the protection of the right of labor unions to organize. All these things and others like them have been opposed by the Republicans.

- The Speaker of the House is responsible for the vote. It is her job to create a bipartisan comprise to move legislation to the Senate. She decided to be divisive and partisan in a time of crisis. Pelosi must resign so the country can have adult leadership in the House.

Obama is neither a Muslim nor a terrorist - which makes you a liar and an idiot.

- Under the authority of the U.S. Constitution, I demand the immediate arrest of:
1. The President of U.S.
2. The White House Administration
3. The Chair of SEC and executives
4. The entire U.S. Supreme Court
5. The disolve of the F.B.I.
6. The Secretary of Treasury and executives.
7. The Federal Reserve Chairman.
8. U.S. Senatorial and Congressional leaders who
host this financial Bail-Out Scheme.
9. All investment bank CEOs who are directly responsible for this insolvency. AND
10. U.S. ATTORNEY and its administration
with charges of TREASON and SUBVERSION OF THE SOVERIEGNTY OF THE UNITED STATES.
If none of my U.S. Congressional leaders will declare this vote of NO CONFIDENCE. I plead the U.S. military leaders to take siege of this totally corrupt government and declare marshal law; until a U.S. Constitution government may be restored. - Reply to this comment
- I cant see how stupid slogans like "drill baby drill" keep getting air time. Don''t these idjits realize that the oil companies will control the oil and can sell it to anyone they damned well please? They will sell it to CHINA or INDIA as soon as our citizens. They are corporations and are in it for the money. Drill baby drill? Why? So Exxon can get richer?

- ... the U.S. Constitution dictates that no one should be jailed for debt; but the system of corrupt judges and government throw people in jail everyday because of DEBT - especially tax debt. The government has endorsed a new form of slavery already; and the whip is called DEBT!

- I posted this on the other story, but I''ll post it here too:
We''re headed into a Great Depression. The FDIC is going to melt down to the tune of tens of trillions of dollars and the government is going to, in effect, go bankrupt when it realizes it can''t cover the losses.
FDIC insured deposits will be paid out pennies on the dollar after the initial bank runs. This is what Bernanke, a student of the Great Depression, was trying to avoid with the $700 billion propping up of the financial system. - Reply to this comment
- "We''''''''ll look back at this years from now and maybe wonder if things would have turned out differently if the bill had passed as originally envisioned by Bernanke."
You mean the one that said he couldn''''t be overruled by Congress or the courts? Yeah, that would have been a real hoot!

I already know what would happen! The money scheme would have diluded the U.S. dollar; inflation would climb; the rich get richer; the economy would stall out; and Congress would be asked to bail-out the Giant Monopoly Bankers - the 10 headed beast once again in one or two years.
Credit will not jump-start the country! That is like paying a credit card debt with another credit card debt. It will only drag on, and on, and on, and inflation will rise, rise, and rise ... until someone will realize the government has made us slaves to the rich with an invisable whip called DEBT! - Reply to this comment
- The bought and paid for money lobby interests with Bush as their banner-boy thought to shove through a bill raping the American taxpayer for 8 years of fiscal mismanagement and of course one last plundering of the treasury before he left office.
It does seem as if we have a problem but its not up to the taxpayers to shoulder the burden of millionaires gutting the system for every dime its worth.
I say lets go after all the outlandish CEO bonuses they were paid in spite of their reckless behavior. Lets go after the millions and millions that the various Senators and Congressmen were bribed with by the financial companies to try to foist this off on the taxpayers.
And if we really want to stop this erosion of our system lets look at the long-entrenched leaders who''''ve worked themselves into positions of power in the Senate and Congress and then used their status to line their own pockets.
Vote all incumbents out - Its time to clean house.
Here''s a list of the bribed ones we can start with.

- Of course the 911 attacks were real, and justified some extreme responses, but we dont know who really attacked us even now.
The New York City 911 ground audio recordings, recorded live after the first plane crashes, (which citizens had to sue in court to have released), clearly show that both Mayor Juliani, and a New York City Fire Captain, had prior knowledge that the twin-towers and building #7 were going to be destroyed.
They ordered their people away from bldg 7 and tower #1 because, in their words, "The buildings are coming down". These orders were given 20 min - before - building 7 and tower 1 were destroyed in obvious controlled demolitions.
Look up 911 ground audio recordings. Hear it for yourself.
Keep asking questions, give up no rights. - Reply to this comment
