I guess it gives a new meaning to "interior department". Maybe they should rename them the ulterior department.

I''d like to know, and this article didn''t really come out and say it, are these ''government employees... GS-whatever)'' or, are they political appointees and good little nazi''s like Monica Goodling? We''re starting to see an ominous trend here, aren''t we?

The thing I''m most concerned about is these wool suited terrorists who are destroying our government from within by selling the America taxpayer out to the highest bidder because they know us little people are the inevitable sheep to be shorn of our wealth to support their worship on the altar of greed.

The Republican brand is tainted and vile... and Palin a sponge soaked in vinegar for the parched lips of degenerate supporters of the tribulations we have suffered through these terrible 8 years of the Moronic Era of our history.

Expect the worst from these vermin and multiply your wildest nightmares by two... or ten if you''re smart and a survivalist... as we witness the total debasement of the Republican party in the next two months. No lie is too big and no trivia too small that it shouldn''t be rubbed in our noses as they try to house train us into their narrow heel. Good boy! [snicker]

The Bush people are just like Warren Harding, but have even less to offer. The oil companies are to blame also and should be prosecuted. Bribery, extortion, graft must be punished to the full extent of law. Will the next administration take action to prosecute these people?
We''ll see. Hopefully this I.G. will not get the CPA treatment.

Hey the president is the b%#$h of the oil companies. I am not surprised that this happened. The question is what can be done to rectify the situation. The illicit activities of the oil companies are coming to light and I firmly believe that the oil companies should be made to pay for windfall profits. I support obama on this.

I''ve been curious as to what Bush''s grand finale was going to be in his last 6 months of office.

He obviously got busted with oil and gas prices and now this, but I think he''s still going to start a war with either Russia or Iran.

Another indication (as if we needed it) of this administration being asleep at the wheel regarding it''s responsibilities.

Why do we even call it an administration any longer?

This is no worse than the Teapot Dome scandal, and no one remembers what that was. Its just business as usual no matter what party is in power. How naive can people be to believe their party is the good guys?

Geez, if I knew it might be that easy to fill the gas tank, I might have reconsidered paying $4/gallon.

Just kidding, but for real, when necessities get to a point that good, hardworking people cannot afford them, some may turn to alternative measures to take care of their families who might otherwise not do so. Unless you are on welfare (and most of them shouldn''t be, anyway) then you need transportation of some type to get to work, do necessary errands and be able to take the children to the doctor or hospital if need be.

If I were desperate to take care of my kids, there are things I would consider doing that I wouldn''t normally consider if it meant food on the table for them.

"uberliberals like Kofi Annon".
Literacy is not a sin, nor some liberal conspiracy against the God loving, flag bearing, white working class. There are people who truly want you to be a little smarter.
For your enlightenment, Kofi Annan is not an American citizen and certainly not involved in American politics. He can''t be an "uber liberal" because the official language of Ghana is English, and no such term exists.
In case you didn''t understand the news, Mr. Annan was cleared (use the dictionary) in the corruption probe - quite like McCain and his son.
