Americans should stop and pause not just for the anniversary of 9/11 but also stop and pause and take note of the Bush administration and the Republican Party promising Americans the World just under 60 days prior to voting. During Pres. Bush`s 4 year term we keep seeing the same patterns of arrogance and in your face politics for 3 and a half years from Republicans and then suddenly 6 months before voting, Republicans act nice and normal and want our votes as if Americans are stupid and have no memory! It`s really disgusting to see Republicans acting nice, promising the World and seeking our opinions and votes, because for the first 3 and a half years in power they really don`t give a dam! If Americans remember that in the voting booth we can take our country back!

Man, this sounds like an awesome place to work.

Well, I suppose it WAS an awesome place to work until you liberals with your annoying sense of government accountability and responsibility ruined everything!

Rigged contracts, illegal moonlighting, drugs, *** and gift-taking, and then lying about it...that''s the Republican way.

Sarah Palin would have very close ties to Senator Ted Stevens because they were in the same party. If she did not have close ties with Senator Stevens she probably could not have become Governor. Alaska is a small state of 700,000 people so revelations like this from the Washington Post probably should not startle anyone. The question is did she do anything illegal or condone it? The next thing is this woman''s views on how she has handled oil companies need to be brought out into the open by the press.

Anyway vote for Obama because the troops need to come home and the bills have to be paid, and our budget balanced. American can not afford to rely on oil companies for its energy future. We must have a T.Boone Pickens or an Al Gore renewable energy policy on a very huge scale. We can no longer afford to fight wars for oil when renewable technology is more than adequate to deliver all of our energy needs if supplemented by natural gas for trucks etc.
