It would have saved everybody time and money had she done so. Not to mention what the baby went thru.

Looking at the murderer''s picture, I''d say she''s a fine and shining example of the youth of today and what one political party has created. The sentence is more than this piece of trash deserves. I say death by microwaving would be very fair and just. Murderers should be eliminated by the same means they chose to eliminate their victims.

China Arnold needs surgical therapy and psychological counseling. A frontal lobotomy would seriously restore her sanity. The Judge should order the medical procedure. There is no reason to give a mother a life sentence in jail when treatment is available.

Sometimes I wonder about the intelligence level of women. Here we are in the 21st century. Not the 18th century. Quite a few birth control/contraception options available so you don''t get pregnant. Why aren''t American women taking advantage of these birth control? You don''t live in the Congo or Haiti. What''s your excuse?

Have all the s e x you want. I don''t care. That''s your business. Doesn''t affect me. Sleep with a different guy every night of the year. BUT USE BIRTH CONTROL.

It is hard to not feel pity for this poor girl when you look at her photo. She appears terribly sorrowful, and is likely full of remorse and confusion. Perhaps it would be more helpful if everyone sent prayers her way, and for the baby as well. It can''t hurt. Just look at the lost look in her eyes. She needs to be consoled!

We need stronger death penalty rules. Placing an innocent, defenseless 1 month-old baby in a microwave and turning it on is an intentional act, period. Just sick, sick, sick.

She made one mistake: She should have had a doctor at Planned Parenthood reach in with tongs and tear her babies arms and legs off 4 months before she was born. Thanks to "pro-choice" (read "my choice") selfish, sexually irresponsible, evil-loving killers, that would have been A-Okay.
Who compared killing a cat to killing a baby?? Puh-leaze! When a cat gets very sick, Animal Control "puts it down." That is NOT what the EMTs do with sick children. I wonder if the posters who are outraged at the life instead of death sentence for this woman are the same posters who were outraged at the sentence a father got for killing his kids'' cat in front of them. Both defenses were the same, they were too drunk to know what they were doing...cat or baby, it is the same cruel, sick act and the same drunken excuse, so why defend one and not the other?

Susan Smith recieved 1/2 the sentance for twice the children. But Susan is a different color and deserves a lesser sentance.

What you fail to consider is that these women were tried in different states by different juries with different judges and different defense and prosecution lawyers. Even the wording of the laws vary from state to state. To blame race for the differences in the sentencing is getting old, very old, and should only happen when there is evidence that race really affected a trial.
