We don''t ever expect you to take care of me or anyone else. We expect as one nation to take care of one another.

Gustav is like the liberal media coverage of sweetie hussein and plagiarist-joe: just a bit of hot air and little else.

- Negrpvoter doesn''t like to think(it hurts his little brain).
twixcon,
That little story was proven to be a lie at the time. She absolutely requested federal help and it was not forthcoming afterwards until it became a PR problem for the WHite House. Both parties let down on Katrina and no amount of post spin is going to wash the administation''s hands clean.
Thank God the levees held and New Orleans escaped the owrst. Americans should continue to pray for those still in the storm''s path and those who''ve been smacked by the storm surge, flooding, and tornadoes. - Reply to this comment

- quite predictably, the people of LA will fare better with their young Republican Governor than they did under the former Democrat.
Katheen Blanco initially declined to request federal assistance in 2005 while hoping to grandstand for political purposes. When she screwed that up, she cried "neglect"! By contrast, Bobby (Piyush) Jindal has conducted adequate preparations. Louisisana wont face the same $50 billion quagmire that it faced do to democrat intransigence. - Reply to this comment
- Everything will be ok. The libs messiah will help New Orleans. He will beat up George and Chaney breaking all those levees.

Once again REpublicons have proven to US all that at the end of the day, the right winged fascists and religious hypocrites just can not be trusted.

This story isn''t going to be history just yet. This storm is going to continue to do dmage foe some time now and it''s not just about New Orleans or majority African-American areas.
Bush won''t be blamed for this and he wouldn''t have been blamed the first time if he had responded like this time. - Reply to this comment

I wish you would challenge my thoughts, but you don''t. If you have a counter to anything I''ve said than explain what''s incorrect about the information I''m providing or the logic of what I''m saying. - Reply to this comment
- Do you think Iraq will help us with some rebuilding projects after this hurricane and maybe another on the way (Hannah)? Do you believe they will let go of a little of that 80 Billion dollars they have stuck away from oil profits? Is this just a stupid question?
And the winner is..... Number 3!!!!! - Reply to this comment
