Americans do not like cheaters. The stench of his action in hijacking the nomination is permanently attached to hussein. Plagiarist-Joe should steal a word other than "clean" to describe him.

A man of hate like John McCain will never be president. As he fought tooth and nail against the MLK holiday, he revealed what a relic he is of failed ideologies of the past.
Now that America has realized how corrupt the repubicons are, we have a chance to finally move into the 21st century. Someone who is computer illiterate like John Magoo is simply not capable of leading a modern society like America.
Grampa''s hatred of women and minorities prevents him from understanding that America is not just a place for greedy people like McCain but for everyone even those of us who dont have seven homes.
But lets not be too critical of Flip McFlop since we really dont know what its like to be a corrupt repubicon until we''ve walked a mile in his shoes and I for one must admit Ive never walked a mile in $520 Italian Loafers like greedy boy john.
Flush the John America.

And you have no one but the republican party to thank for that right.

Well I don''t think the Republican''s had anything to do with it. LOL One thing is certain in the Party as it is today, dominated by the Religious Reich and the Southern Fascist, he wouldn''t even get to SIT in the hall, let alone address the faithful. SIEG HEIL McBush

What has he proven himself to lead? And for Kennedy who fought against civil rights in the 60''s, you are in terrible need of some history lessons.

As someone else mentioned no one will have the media in the voter booth with them and I think many will think twice before voting for Obama once they enter.

Posted by Fedup_w_pols at 02:56 PM : Aug 28, 2008

You think ALL American''s are like you? LOL I have great faith in them. I believe once they hear Obama, once they see the mud slinging and lies are just that, they will vote for him... in very large numbers! There is no future with McBush and the fascist... just more failure!!

Someone else also made a point that I have been wondering about. Why is so much made of his "black" side when that side is the one that abandoned him to be left to raise by the "White" side. It would almost appear at though there is more to be gained from being abandoned by a black father than raised by a white mother or grandmother. To me this makes no sense. He comes from exactly what is wrong with much of the black community, having kids and not caring for them yet we celebrate this aspect of his life. Shouldn''''t we celabrate the white side that actually took responsibility for him growing up? Seems the black side is getting credit for leaving as though it was a good thing.

Blacks also hate half black half white people...Now all of a sudden one of them is their "savior"? He represents 200 years of repression? And these idiotic women fainting at the sight of him? How pathetic is that...

.
The main event of the Dem Convention, Hillary''s speech, is now over. The remaining bureaucratic/administrative minutia are best ignored by all Americans that believe in democracy.

Just as the clear winner of the popular vote in 2000 was Al Gore, the clear winner of the popular vote in the Dem primaries was Hillary. Just as Gore was denied his rightful victory by manipulations and un-democratic procedure, so too was Hillary gored.

Time has not healed the result of the 2000 debacle. In fact, the thief of that election is now regarded as the WORST ever by the overwhelming majority of Americans and people of the entire world. The same will occur with the Dem primaries of 2007/2008. History will eventually label "sweetie" hussein, and his equally unethical side-kick Plagiarist-Joe, as the WORST - regardless of what happens subsequently in 2008 and beyond.

Americans do not like cheaters. The stench of his action in hijacking the nomination is permanently attached to hussein. Plagiarist-Joe should steal a word other than "clean" to describe him.

got on a bus in the 60''''s as did so many others, rode it south in a effort to gain the basic right of Blacks to vote. It has been a LONG LONG ride indeed but Tonight after over 200 years, we will finally see a very large segment of our society become fully involved. It is great to see and great to be a part of!! Oh and please all you morons who keep saying Bush this and that BUSH IS NOT RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT!!! If your to stupid to realize that you really have no business voting in the first place.

If he should win which I doubt and hope he does not. I will expect his very first item of business will be to do away with Affirmative Action and any quota systems in place favoring anyone of any color, period. After all if a BLACK man can be elected President I think that arguement is long over. I won''t be holding my breath.

"The only thing Barky Obama has in common with Dr. King is race and if this media circus is not a blatant display of racism, then Jim Crowe was a civil rights worker in Harlem. - sincityq

Actually, not even that is true...

If they continue on with the racist calling for anyone who simply does not agree with Obama your likely to see a major backlash from people who go into the voting booth and show you just how racist they are with their vote.

As someone else mentioned no one will have the media in the voter booth with them and I think many will think twice before voting for Obama once they enter.

Barack Obama is a genuine African-American. How many American Negroes can pinpoint their heritage to an African decendent; not many. My point is simple, race matters, period! Its the first thing you see. No one cares that he is of mixed background. If he didn''t tell you, you''d have no idea and simply call him (fill in the blank). Most so-called African-Americans are simply "Americans" or "Black Americans".

If this man wasn''t black he would have been laughed off the stage as a first term senator who started campaigning for President as soon as he was sworn in to the Senate.

I agree with Geraldine Ferraro.

At least Hillary could have won the general election, this guy has NO chance.
