Did anyone read the article before commenting? This case wasn''t in Idaho court, it was in federal court making it a federal sentence,

Some crimes are so heinous that I think a simple execution is not enough.
I support burning at the stake in the remote desert, with not a soul around during his agony. Let him suffer and die without the chance of seeing a single, sympathetic eye.
Let him die knowing terror and the despair that comes from no hope of rescue, just like his victims.
Gas, hanging, lethal overdose or a bullet are too quick.
Burn him at the stake, by remote control. Leave him to an agonizing death all alone.

Hopefully his lawyer is a dumb one. We can not afford to have a lawyer find a flaw in the trial phase of this person''''s conviction. If some liberal does claim a flaw and gets the conviction overturned, then this poor mother and daughter, who have already suffered more than their share will have to start over again in trial phase. My heart goes out to this family.

Maybe try reading the article before you comment, your fears of liberals are all put to rest there.

Hey, I''m a native Idahoan, and I say - ship him to Texas....they''ll get the job done, without any more tax payer''s money supporting him.

missybelle, these two things, like all other things, go together. We imagine ourselves as being better than others, that we have no evil in ourselves. Who among us has never rejoiced in the suffering in others. We have taken great joy in the suffering of the Iraqi people, we are proud of it. Recognizing reality is not an illness. Denial is. As Eugene Debs said nearly a century ago ''I am not one bit better than the meanest on earth.''

Whoever you are, you need help. The 2 do not go hand in hand and have nothing to do with each other. What an idiot, you must have NO life or other interests.

Seriously how would you actually deal with this is if you were in the situation the family (what''s left of it)? Would you actually sit there and want this man to be alive in jail for the next decade while you support that effort with your tax dollars? HELL NO YOU WOULDN''T that%u2019s why people are MAD! This is why people on here including me have different opinions on what "degenerates like Duncan" deserve! It''s not about the war it''s about personal opinion! It all gets so twisted because everyone incorporates other worldly issues that only semi-related to the current issue because of the fact it%u2019s about MURDER and it happened to an innocent family. He will face judgment. Hopefully the family has some closure!

The evidence is irrefutable...Bush and his cronies are responsible for an illegal and immoral war. They will get away with their crimes because they are in power and wealthy. This man, a disgusting individual to be sure, will not get away with his crimes. Instead, he will be allowed to lie on a hospital gurney and have poisonous chemicals pumped into his veins. This will happen some eight or ten years from now. By then, no doubt, he will beg God and Jesus for forgiveness and will then look forward to eternal bliss. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, no doubt all devout believers will then get to spend all eternity with this killer degenerate...Oh yeah, that''s their punishment. I see your point.

"FSW3- You showed how stupid you are with that post...you have to rip at Bush for everything. Gramted he has screwed uip many things but to compare these two things is beyond idiotic." Posted by guyfrompa49 at 08:22 AM : Aug 28, 2008 in response to:
"Some kill like this killer in Idaho, others kill by making war against a nation that could never threaten us. They don''t use their own resources, no, they tax the American people, not for a standing army to defend our nation in time of need but rather as a brigade of hitmen to carry out their political whims. Such people would never get the death penalty even though they kill a whole lot more people." Posted by FSW3 at 07:58 AM : Aug 28, 2008

What I take away from all this is a mental pathology and twisted value structure that is so pernicious that it becomes, in and of itself, a threat to civilization. It is the same "my immediate profit (or pleasure) above all else and God da*n the consequences" ideology that drives both Joey-boy''s unbelievable crimes and the gnomes of power who prosecute that insane Iraq misadventure. FSW3 may not have all the dots connected and may be stretching things a bit but his analogy is FAR from idiotic.

Right on %u201Ctoldyouso%u201D! This obviously has nothing to do with the war people get a grip! This is one individual that took pleasure in his antics, that planned a vicious attack, PRE-MEDITATED he knew exactly what he was going to do! This death sentence isn''t *** for him, I bet his *** will be shaken when he goes to the lethal injection table knowing he is about to enter an eternity in the pits of hell! This *** is everywhere in the world and if they can catch the felon then burn their ***** that%u2019s all there is to it! Do you want your family living next to a person that is as dangerous as this man! Your freaking pet wouldn%u2019t even be safe!

So let me see, a man who has grown up in privilege, who never earned anything in life, who stole an election to become president so he could send American soldiers off, not to defend the nation, but to carry out a personal vendetta, and therefore kill more than four thousand soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen, not to mention tens of thousands of Iraqis, all the while ignoring threats from Al-Qaeda, therefore leading to the deaths of three-thousand plus people on Nine-Eleven, and somehow Bush just ''screwed up a few things.'' No one will ever prosecute this madness, Bush, Cheney and Rumsfield and the rest of his cohorts will get away with this. This won''t excuse the child murderer/rapist but it clearly shows that some can kill and others cannot.

The evidence is irrefutable--even the killer does not deny this. This is an example of one of those times when justice should be much swifter. After the verdict, he should have been handed over to the crowd in an arena specifically built to rend, tear and destroy monsters on site. We should not have to endure years of his smirks or his antics in prison and in the courts. This goes beyond sad and beyond outrageous into the land of simply--- ENOUGH!!!!

This man is sick, heartless! I wonder how long this piece of *** will living in jail reminiscing about his past while my/our tax dollars keep him fat dumb and happy! This is ludicrous! They need to expedite his death sentence especially for the fact that he is without a doubt 100% GUILTY of his crimes, they have VIDEO evidence *** so there isn%u2019t a reason for him to enjoy however much time he has?
