- Well, I guess its a good start. May be quite a bit more of that up until election day. Then it will stop.

I am coming back from Thailand. I am retired law enforcement with a degree in criminal justice and 15 years experience. I think i could be beneficial to any office needing investigators, especialy since i wouldn''t cost them anything. I think everryone should try to give something back to their communities when they are able. I am financially secure and have both tyhe knowledge and time. I also have no desire to mistreat anyone so would treat everyone with respect. - Reply to this comment

Your argument could have some value if the illegals also worked and planned to pay for getting legal residency. Why should they be given a free ride to break our laws the allowed to stay thru an ammenesty program ? How can this be fair to those who apply legally, jump thru all the legal hoops, and wait years for the legal right to come here ? - Reply to this comment
- I am glad that everyone seems to agree that it is NOT prejudice that is driving our concerns. WE ARE A NATION OF LAWS and everyone must live by them if we are going to have an orderly society!
Patriot,
Good luck with your volunteer work!! You are one of the heroes in this fight!

I agree with you. It isn''t a matter of prejudice or hate, it is upholding the laws of our country designed for the benefit of the majority. I am moving to Las Vegas next month and intend to volunteer to help with investigations. I can donate many man hours and collect evidence to turn over to the proper authorities. I see it as a way of giving back to my community. - Reply to this comment

he workers were probably applauding because they had been filing complaints for months about the number of illegals working there and were happy something was finally beuing done about it. - Reply to this comment

I do not hate the illegals and can sympathyise with their situation. However we have to enforce the laws of our country for the good of the whole. That is why they wer created in the first place. Look at the people who apply legally and wait years before they are allowed to come. By the illegals cming in it makes them wait even longer. Enforcing this law of deporting illegals is the fair way to do things. - Reply to this comment

The sad truth is you can go to any major city and in a matter of minutes obtain false papers, drugs, guns, anything as long as you have the money to pay for them. - Reply to this comment
- If a legal alien is caught helping an illegal alien in this country, under the immigration laws their rights to be here can also be revoked and they be deported as well.

How do Whites give Hispanics poverty and poor education?
If Hispanics are here legally, they should be able to have pretty much the same opportunities that anyone else has. Believe it or not, there are white citizens born in the U.S. living in poverty.
As for poor education, just about every school in the U. S. has added expensive, unneccesary programs and teachers just to be able to communicate with Hispanic kids. - Reply to this comment

Tried to put the link in several times. Didn''t work. Just Google-Michelle Obama, illegal immigrants, not fear immigration raids.
I got www.startribune.com
but that wasn''t all of the address and couldn''t copy and paste on my computer today. - Reply to this comment
- Oil revenues are the largest source of foreign income in Mexico. Number two is revenue received from "undocumented workers" in the United States. One of every eight persons born in Mexico now lives in the U.S. (almost all illegally). That means roughly 15% of the Mexican population lives in the U.S. -- illegally. Illegal aliens account for 90% of the murder warrants in Los Angeles. Hispanics graduate at a lower rate (less than 50%) from high school than any other ethnic group in the U.S. And the list goes on and on.

- It''s annoying listening to the "supposed to break your heart" stories of families being broken up because of the raids. If they weren''t here ILLEGALLY the families wouldn%u2019t be torn apart. As for the children, if they are born to illegals then they should not be granted American citizenship for being born in America, that way they all go back together as a family.

- Did you know that Howard Industries (where the 600 hundreds illegals were detained) is a major contributor to John McCain? I wonder if that helps explain his strong support for amnesty.

- The illegal alien influx will stop about the same time that the United States has been turned into the equivilent of the current 3rd world countries or when our government gets serious about deporting ALL illegals immediately upon discovery and the fence.
Most of the illegals are NOT paying taxes into the system. Far too many are working for cash and off the books.
The actual taxpayers ARE supporting the schools, Headstart programs, free clinics, the general infrastructure of roads, utilities, fire departments, subsidized housing, food stamps, etc., that illegals use.
Too many illegals are here simply to drain the economy of the United States while they send the majority of their earnings back to Mexico and other countries. Entire small towns in Mexico are supported by the money sent back by the illegals working here.
Does anyone have dollar figures on how much of Mexico''s economy depends on the illegals income from the U. S.? - Reply to this comment
- Way to go ICE. We need more raids all over the country. Illegal immigrants have destroyed the town I grew up in. We have Mexican gangs everywhere in our town these days. Some of our schools force english speaking children to learn in spanish because we have so many illegals. Our hospitals and welfare office are packed with illegals. ID theft and fraudulent documents are rampant here. I live a four hour drive from Canada. It is time to stop this madness.

Very good point! It is normal for them to test the legal system until they get caught. Many who get sent back to their own country try to get here again and often succeed after the 2nd or 3rd try. They have been skirting their own system for so long, for so many generations that they don''t really see the illegality of strolling right in to the USA. - Reply to this comment

- They need to round up all the politicians and business owners who are complicit in allowing millions of illegal aliens to live and work in this country.
