haoli25 - I just love the way your type brings condemnation upon yourselves. Those in Noah''s day were a lot like you. Then it was too late. This time it will be fire.....enjoy. My guess is that you are a Liberal as well.....regardless watching anyone just die and doing nothinbg is unforgivable.

The indifference towards others that this shows can only get worse with the ascendancy of secularism in America.

Since polls indicate that 95% of Americans claim they believe in God, clearly secularism is NOT the problem. It seems more reasonable to conclude that somehow religion has failed to install a viable conscience in the people who ignored this woman''s cries. Perhaps they were claiming "it must be God''s will that she die". A pathetic excuse.

"AM I MY BROTHER''S KEEPER?" Genesis 4:9

1. Perhaps one of the more thought-provoking questions in the Bible is that one asked by Cain:
a. Cain had killed his brother because God had accepted Abel''s offering, but not his own - Gen 4:3-8
b. When the Lord inquired concerning Abel, Cain''s response was: "Am I my brother''s keeper?" (Gen 4:9)

2. This is a question we would do well to ask ourselves today...
a. Are we our brother''s keeper?
b. Do we have a responsibility to watch out for and care for one another?

When one turns to the New Testament, it becomes clear that the answer is in the AFFIRMATIVE. In fact, there are many passages which emphasize this. We are our brothers keeper and God holds us responsible and not only conditionally.
