- The most costliest hurricanes, yes they cost billions, included the following states:
FL, LA, NC, SC, GA, OH, PA, NY, NJ, VA, MS, AL, TN, HI
The populations of those states are more than half the country. Where do you want these people to move ? - Reply to this comment
- The south is being punished by god for supporting Bushwhacker!!!

- You have to remember the media blows everything out of proportion also. Anything for them to make a buck. The only thing this storm caused was flooding. That happens all the time , everywhere. The storm isn''t going to "hit" Florida again, because it never left in the first place.

- We have to quit throwing away money and resources rebuilding in disaster prone areas. If you chose to live on the beach in a hurricane zone or in an area that is annually ravaged by wildfires or on easily liquified ground in an earthquake zone it should be at your own risk. Maybe a one time buyout for any given location, but that is it. Stupid is as stupid does.

- Florida...big, gigantic nasty bugs, people eating crocs, sickening humidity, millions of old, cranky people, millions of tourists, relentless hurricanes. Good GRIEF.

- They talk about it "striking" ? this storm is nothing but a wimper as far as tropical storms go. There''s just a lot of RAIN ! Minor winds.
I''m sure the Georgians are praying for rain. Although that would be trying to change God''s all knowing plan. Why pray when he knows everything anyway. - Reply to this comment
- Actually, many are praying it delivers in N. Ga soon. They could use about two feet of rain. I think they would be sad to see it simply move back out to sea.
But, your comment was meant as ridicule of those who pray, wasn''t it? - Reply to this comment
