You''re right, it is a bit of jumping to conclusions. I live in New Mexico, where we have a very large population of native hispanics and mexican nationals. The thing I''ve seen is that, for every 4 kind, hard-working decent illegals, there is 1 drunk ****** mexican stereotype. Now, I can imagine that the exploited teen situation is probably what those white kids probably percieved it as. I know here in this state, not a day goes by that some illegal alien from Latin America isn''t arrested for molestation or child abuse and it gets put on the news. I''m not saying that the fact this guy is dead is in any way right, or that all illegals are criminals, but the article above (if true) describes a situation where the hispanic guy seems to have struck the first blow, and I''d say there are 75% odds that the guy was drunk and trying to get into the girls'' pants that night (what do overage men and teenage girls do in a park?). Again, I''d be angry as hell too, but the kid should have never kicked him while he was down.

The very town I live in would no longer exist if it weren''''t for all the Latinos now living here, both legal and illegal. I never encourage anyone to be here illegally, because it opens them up to all kinds of abuse by white farmers who hope that their illegal status will keep them under control. So, in a way, I agree with you, but just not for the same reasons.

I guess no one noticed in the article how the hispanic guy, 25, was in a park with a teenage girl (and I think I know what they were doing there too). I''''d think that would make me angry as hell too, seeing a 25 year old guy exploiting a teen. I''''d probably call him on it too, and if he responded like he responded, I''''d probably say some nasty stuff back too. And then the guy attacked one of the teens, it says, and the guy hit the ground after getting hit. Then one of the kids kicked his head, a stupid move, but can''''t anyone see how this was probably a case of hot tempers and immature teenage brains? This should be manslaughter tops, and the other kids who did not kick the dude while he was down should not be charged with assault. The quarterback kid was obviously defending himself and his friend was trying to get the guy (who I''''d bet was pretty drunk himself) off his friend. The kid who kicked him in the head should be convicted of manslaughter though, you don''''t kick a man while he''''s down.
