Has anyone else noticed that this CBS sight is absence of todays events with Russia? Connie had her panties in a knot and was trying to make threats but having a hard time finding solid ground to stand on. Reports on WTOP said, this afternoon, that NATO is trying to take firm posture with her stance. Russia is moving mobile ICBM''s closer to their borders and digging them in.
When is this insane path our "CHOSEN" (Thank you Diebold) Leaders going to come back to the reality of the world situation. Now is the time for complete diplomacy, transparent actions and cooler heads.
Instead we are witnessing a situation akin to the start of a dog fight. Straining at the leash to get at each other, growling, barking and slobbering all over themselves not listening to everyone screaming at them to stop.
Our leaders are flat refusing to listen to the peoples wishes as they feel they know whats best for the ignorant masses. "God Speed USA"

"I could be wrong but I think the vast majority of Iraqis would prefer that we go "play" somewhere else. Because they have nowhere else to go does not make it OK to kill them. You guys have lost your fuggin bearings." Sorry to say...Well, you can''t help you are wrong! How many Iraqi''s have you personally talked with that have had family and friends imprisoned and/or killed by Saddams regime? Evidently none or you would not be siding with the insurgent point of view. I have had the opportunity to have these discussions, and they are happy we are there, unlike the rhetoric you would prefer to hear to confirm your bias, so stay quiet long enuf to listen, learn, and wise up.

20 minutes BEFORE building #7 at the world trade center fell, the BBC announced that bldg #7 had fallen down.

10 minutes BEFORE bldg #7 fell down, a New York Fire Captain warns his men, "Move away from #7, they%u2019re gonna blow the bldg."

Both of the above facts were captured on the ground on 911 and RECORDED LIVE. Then it took citizens almost 2 years using the Freedom of Information Act to get them released.

Don''t just dismiss this as conspiracy *** - check this out for yourself if you want to know real truth.

Folks, we been snookered and led into war on false pretense. Witness 962 publicly repeated lies (wmd, wmd, wmd) ie the sky is falling.

All the argument for strong national security is tainted and manipulated by the military industrial machine, which must, from time to time, gear-up and produce weapons of war to stay profitable - thus the Vietnam war - thus the current wars - all for oil and military industrial profits.

And "We the People" are simply pawns in the scam.

If you don''t believe it, check out the website and hear it for yourself.

Until you do - you don%u2019t know the truth.

All this killing originated with the world''s #1 terrorists George Bush/*** Cheney when they brought down the twin-towers in a controlled demolition and blamed it on terrorists.

Everything since then has been in the pursuit of oil profits and the intent to enslave America by taking our freedoms in the name of protecting us.

PROOF: 20 minutes BEFORE building #7 at the world trade center fell, the BBC announced that bldg #7 had fallen down. They announced it BEFORE the bldg fell down.

The same reason innocent people leave a war torn area-so they do not become "collateral damage" to those whom are fighting-the rest that stay are "players in the game"...

Hahahaha - so by your logic, anyone who stays in their home country are just "players in the game". I could be wrong but I think the vast majority of Iraqis would prefer that we go "play" somewhere else. Because they have nowhere else to go does not make it OK to kill them. You guys have lost your fuggin bearings.

The same reason innocent people leave a war torn area-so they do not become "collateral damage" to those whom are fighting-the rest that stay are "players in the game" and if it is true, shots were fired from the house before the marines got to it, and no one left it, arms were hid, the role players played "innocent" and "unarmed" roles for bait to incite further insurgents to jihad!! It is after all, war. Both psychically, physically, emotionally. Dont be fooled by the jihadist fanatic pretense to look innocent either. Things are not as they seem, or as the innocent want them to be. In war that mindset will cause your death.

shazam115, your last comment made me cringe. No matter, who you are targeting Christians, Jews or Muslims...you''''re message is the same...Hatred. Please sir (or madam) look deep into your heart and try to find the source of your deep seeded anger and hate. I know only God can open your heart and show you the light...maybe if you pray hard enough...he will. For now, please stop your hate filled spew.

The "Commander IN Chief " is where the buck stops for war crimes. There should never be any soldier that can just kill innocent unarmed civilians and not face prosecution and Prison. Bush should expect the same.

So we go kill more people (500,000+ civilians) to "fix" Iraq? And if your faux sanctimony is genuine, where is your concern for Rowanda, Darfur, Congo, etc. etc. Why Iraq and not them? Because all this noble talk is B S.

YOU''RE RIGHT ABOUT THAT. BUT WE ARE TRYING TO CHANGE THAT BUT SOME PEOPLE WANT TO LIVE IN THE PAST RATHER THAN LOOK TO THE PRESENT CHANGES AND THE FUTURE. WE CANNOT CHANGE THE PAST.HOWEVER WE CAN LEARN FROM IT AND TRY TO PREVENT IT FROM EVER HAPPENING AGAIN. ISNT THAT WHAT HISTORY IS ABOUT.

Lets see, when, exactly, was the last time a soldier was executed for not committing an atrocity at the command of his superiors?
