Demonstrators Dress As Disney Characters In Labor Protest At Amusement Park; 32 Arrested
- Still, a 45 year old who is a GRANDMOTHER of THREE... not necessarily her, but her offspring being too does sound odd...
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Do the math. If ol'' Granny there were 18 when she started churning out the clones, her oldest child would be 27, plenty of time to provide second generation clones for Granny. I know this firsthand, because I am 42 and yes, a Granny with 2nd gen clones. - Reply to this comment
- There is no more important part of free market capitalism than the right of workers to organize, bargain colletively and protest or strike. What a sad commentary on the ignorance of so many about the basics of capitalism that we see so much drivel decrying union actions. Don''t forget that when the Communists were advancing across the world the first victims of their purges were always union leaders. Even today in Communist China it is a criminal offense to organize a union.

- "Disney has a reputation of under payment and wringing whatever they can out of their employees. Just another corporation run by suits and lawyers interested in the bottom line only."
It is true. Disney has a terrible reputation in dealing with employees and companies that supply them. But a public demonstration is a great way to get their attention since they value their fantasy myth so much. Remember when there was all that controversy because Disneyland phones connected 911 to Disney people not the real police or fire depts so they could control the information? Someone used a cell phone... - Reply to this comment
- Numerous countries have free healthcare, free UNIVERSITIES which include books, and free prescription coverage. Canada, Costa Rica, UK, Argentina, France, Spain, Germany, Australia, New Zealand... just to name a few. In reality, it isn''t free. The people pay on average 40% in taxes. But, unlike here in the USA, they actually see where their taxes are going. As long as we remain true capitalists (making money on everything and anything), we will never resolve this issue.

- Talking with locals in Fla. Disney has a reputation of under payment and wringing whatever they can out of their employee''s. Just another corporation run by suits and lawyers interested in the bottom line only. Commissions paid on how much money is in the profit column of the spread sheet. Seems as though most US corporations don''t really give a hoot about the employee''s anymore. With the jobless rate going up these situations will only become more the norm.
