Comments on: Vermont's "Worst Case Of Animal Abuse"
Home Infested With Rotting Carcasses; Mom, Son Charged With Animal Cruelty
- This pisses me as a Mainer in Seattle. There is no bloody reason this should happen. None. They took these living things in their home to care for them not kill them. I love dogs and don''t own one due to health reasons. I HAVE SEEN THIS ISSUE ON ANIMAL PLANET OF THEM WHO WON''T BE A PROPER CARE TAKER. It makes me sick. Vt is pretty been thru thst state. Never lived in VT.

- Also found was a decomposing animal of unknown type in a pot on a stove. More than a dozen partially frozen dead animals were found in a refrigerator freezer.
Im assuming they were eating the poor animals?

- This guy looks like he fell right out of the movie "Deliverance". I can tall you from looking at him he is not a mental case. He is just an a__hole and a big one at that.

- this is a sad, sad case. there''s probably some mental illness involved. neighbors should have reported this much much sooner.

- SOMEBODY should have told this man that his parents were not supposed to be brother and sister. Yes, by all means get them help, institutionalize them ASAP. I suspect that they ate their extra bowel of stupid every day like good lil'' rednecks. It''s people like this that either wind up president or serial killer wannabes.

- Here we go again, these people should be given the same treatment afforded the animals that suffered. Then they might understand what happened. May they burn in hell.

- Obviously, the mother and son must be mentally deranged and/or mentally retarded. They should probably be admitted to a mental institution where they have over-seers to make sure of their hygiene and to keep them medicated and away from children and animals.

- After I finished quietly vomiting when I read this story, I really felt bad for everyone involved. How horrifying that these people didn''t know any better than to live in these conditions, obviously there''s some mental issues going on here. This is what, the 5th or 6th story in the past few days about animal neglect/abuse and the filthy living conditions of the humans? Can''t be anything else than mental illness, and these people need help.

- These people are very, very disturbed. How anyone can live in filth like that is beyond me.
Please, PLEASE get these two sub-human creatures some help, or just lock them up for the rest of their lives, and don''t EVER let them near any kind of animals again. - Reply to this comment
- Same thing happened here in Missouri 2 days ago...They took away over 300 very malnourished animals from the old hick...
