When I was a kid, Mark Spitz was the man! This guy is Spitz''s equal. Congrats and thank you from a grateful nation!

loses interest for us. I''''ve yet to watch a single competition for these Olympics and just might not watch any this time around or in the future.

Perhaps you could lose interest in posting about things you have no interest in as well.

... Quid Nunc? Swimsuits that mimic shark skin, computer designed pools, what next, bio-engineered water to swim in?
Didn''t the atheletes in the ancient games have to compete naked?
When sport becomes so engineered that it becomes something that the rest of us, non competitors and potential future competitors [read: the children], can no longer relate to it loses interest for us.
I''ve yet to watch a single competition for these Olympics and just might not watch any this time around or in the future.

Judging by the look on his face, someone''s been peeing in the pool. I notice the venues are full of cigarette smoke. MOST Chinese people have Tuberculosis, and nearly all have been exposed to it. I wonder how many of our athletes will come back coughing. I do NOT want to go to China.
