Once again, His Kwameness is not a template either for black or for Democratic America. While GWB and Mr. McClain are the epitome of the modern Republican party, Kilpatrick is an abberration of the Democrats and in NO way represents their values or those of "librulz".

Instead of changing laws to accommodate this type of trash, as some in this board are advocating, how about the trash honoring, following and obeying the laws like people of all color generally do? vitterdidder, this has nothing to do with black or white. This guy thinks because he has (or had) a position of power that he can do whatever, whenever and to whomever. He would be the same way if he were white. I believe it has to do with his upbringing, not his color. There are plenty of ignorant white people in positions of power as well. This piece of garbage has cost all of us Michiganders millions of $$$ and is using millions more of city and state money for his lawyers. That''s why he has refused to leave because then he will have to pay them personally. Why do we allow such scum to remain in his post while he has been charged and arraigned with felonies is incomprehensible. Why the governor is trying to push hearings later instead of "laying" him off now is also not comprehensible. Saying that the process is in place and will run its course is utter rubbish just like Kwame himself. How much longer are we all to suffer the likes of this scum, plus the irresponsibility of Granholm to take the reins and do something is a crime. She has to go because she cannot lead. The state is dying and so will a lot of its citizens due to the inability of leaders and the way the thugs and scums, their families and supporters are allowed to run wild. Is there no recourse for any of us????

So typical of what is happening in large urban areas where the white voters have fled to the suburbs, leaving a pool of voters who will put anyone into office regardless of their ability or integrity. Look at New Orleans, where an INDICTED congressman (cash found in his freezer) was re-elected by his inner city constituients. If blacks want good government when they are in the majority, then they have to hold their leaders to a high standard.
