- And just where in this completely thorough article does it mention his party affiliation? This loser is a "Democratic", right? Posted by tcoleman12 at 09:07 AM : Aug 09, 2008
Fox brought that up yesterday. In an article by AP regarding the senator from Alaska, his party afiliation was mentioned 17 times....in the same article!
And here you have AP on this story. ZERO! The LAMEstream media at its worst. - Reply to this comment
- If he went to public high school in Detroit, you know he''s not smart.

- A lot of black men have an uncanny ability to screw up their lives. What is this fat dude''s problem?
Cruel & unusual punishment: they made Hizzoner spend the night in a cell with NO TV!!!
I can guarantee you that if the cops are booking me & taking my photo, I''m not gonna be smiling.
Detroit is not a city people move to. It''s a city people move away from. - Reply to this comment

- What a loser. He won''t resign, his arrgoance is just like Obama''s. I think Obama should pick KK. That way the argoance would be equal.
He is costing the taxpayers of Detroit more and more money and could care less.
Worse part is the citizens of Detroit elected KK twice. They deserve what they get.
Why doesn''t any new orginization report KK is a Democrat??? Were he a republican, it would be bold headlines. Both KK and John Edwards, Democrats. Trouble is neither can keep their fly''s closed or their pants on. - Reply to this comment
- Oh
And one more thing. Isn''t this guy''s situation kind of similar to that of your hero Bill Clinton. Like Bill, the guy lied about something extremely personal that wasn''t really anyone''s business but his. But I don''t remember Bill being treated like garbage the way this guy has.
Yeah, he should use every strength he has to reassert his authority in that town. If that means rounding up and extrajudicially dispatching a few deputies, detectives, judges, prosecutors and other assorted scum then more power to him. - Reply to this comment
- If I were this guy I would declare a local emergency, deputize my suupporerters and instruct them to find and place all law enforcers and judicial sorts under arrest, shooting anyone who resists. That''s how revolutions start.

- Is this for REAL ? I went to wiki-pedia check this guy out. If 1/2 of what I read is true, he should be doing 20 years in PRISON !!! What a loser...

I don''t think you would think so if it happened to you. We need to depend on our elected officials and appoint police to act in accordance with the laws set by our govt. - Reply to this comment
- Being out of the country limits me as to what news coverage i get and how accurate it is, so i always like to hear the whole story first. I don''t care what his color is, if he did the crime he should be charged. I just would like to see the stories reported factually instead of slanted to make them interesting.

- "I don''t think it is being racist to ask why he wasn''t arrested at the time of the incident." - patriot12436
Neither do I; it''s a reasonable question, and it''s not what I was calling racist. Here are a few of the racist remarks I was referring to:
"He looks like one of the recently discovered gorillas in the Congo." - Posted by haoli25
"The city of Detroit should be completly leveled and rebuilt" - Posted by michtop
"well, it looks like you can take the African out of Africa but you can''t take the African out of them....sad. Evolve already!" - Posted by jeff92706
"What color is he? Oops! Sorry, did not see his photo, here we go, black *** again?" - Posted by ohmydingling
etc.
Here''s my response to those who make this kind of comment:

- I don''t think it is being racist to ask why he wasn''t arrested at the time of the incident. If he committed the attack then perhaps reverse discrimination was applied.

- I think it would have been fair to assume if he committed the assault why was he not arrested at the time of the assault. Perhaps the officer assaulted was not abloe to but he could have called for back up. Did they under react because he happened to be black ?
