Comments on: Dogs Killed In Raid On Mayor's Home
Maryland Home Was Apparently Target Of Pot Smuggling Scheme; Police Conduct Questioned
- I%u2019m not saying that they needed to shoot the police in this case but if we EVER give up our guns and depend on the law for protection; we%u2019ll be in a BAD situation.

Do not have a gun but I am afraid that if all give them up then who will protect us from the government if or when it goes bad. To me this is where the militia would come in. Citizen%u2019s militia would be needed. If government had all the guns then who would defend our rights from the Marxist and extremist? - Reply to this comment

- Flood their servers and take their websites down. They don''t even deserve to have the Internet now. All over a box of POT.....

- How could the police not know it was the home of the Mayor and his wife? Somebody was really stupid on this on &
1. Badges should be lost
2. Prosecution on the idiots done after a short investigation.
Do not get me wrong, I am usually on the side of the cops but there is not excuse for this action and the results. Mistakes like this (and others) are not acceptable. - Reply to this comment

- "...despite all the mistakes that were made, they''re holding to their guns, saying they did nothing wrong."
Well, duh!!
"He and other officials did not apologize for killing the dogs, saying the officers felt threatened."
Bullcrap! It''s one thing to have made the mistake, but if they killed my dogs, I would spend the rest of my days seeing that they paid for it. - Reply to this comment
- Does anyone know their website?

Don''t get to defensive, for I am a very strong supporter for the right to bear arms, but would you have shot these cops? If not, what do you think would have happened to you if you had shown a gun, in your own house, as they were shooting your pets? It''s time we found the middle again on what rights and protections the police in this country should have. I think, and it seems to me so do the majority of others, the police, and their unions and oversight, have gone WAY across the line.
Personally, I don''t believe men have the psychological make up to be police officers. We are to ego-tistical, and rage usually gets the better of us, especially when it comes to being dominant in the majority of situations. Then it becomes who can butt heads hardest, and if we have to lie about it to win, so be it. With women, this is not the case.

- The local police SWAT teams are out of control. The average cop now writes traffic tickets. The SWAT teams are the ones that handle typical arrests and rule its citizens with fear. These SWAT teams, especially the Federally funded ones in small communities should be dismantled as they are the extension of paranoia.

- I think everyone should go to the city''s website and start flooding emails to the chief of police.....the same with the county''s website. This is pathetic.

- thgdriver: I know there''''s no intelligent life in NJ...never has been. It''''s the armpit of the Northeast and smells just as bad.

Right! Did you ever notice they don''t charge on the bridges to get into NJ? They only charge you when you try to leave. That''s one reason why "Boob" is still there. LOL. - Reply to this comment
- These dogs weren''t mean dogs or they would of alerted the owners of the SCUM outside!

- The oath of law enforcement is to protect and defend the public, not their own safety, nor to break and enter innocent peoples'' homes.
These cops didn''t understand the oath they took. They need fired and charged and lose their pension. - Reply to this comment

- So this is what the cops do give tickets and shoot dogs instead of catching real criminals. What and maybe have to work at the job they are supposed to do. Fire the whole department and make and example of them this would send a clear message to the rest and the next time put them in the same jail they have sent people.
That should end this *** with the police. I am sick and tried of them thinking they are above the law. Like parking in a no parking zone or flashing their lights so they don''t have to stop at a red light.

- There''s Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party and Bob Barr of the Liberatian party...They are good honest candidates for president and even if they lose U''ve not contributed to the election of a unfit president.

- Can you say retirement and mega dollars from the police made a mistake. Gosh they didn''t know he was the mayor, they made a big mess.
Now all the taxpayers will have to pay up big time.
Labradors are not attack dogs.
What a mess!!
Hope they get a great lawyer and take them to the cleaners. - Reply to this comment
