It''s an interesting situation... rarely can a black criminal look around & NOT find some way to blame white people for his problem....

Fact is, just about every player here is black...

But seriously though... while I certainly don''t think the mayor is any kind of anything decent - and Detroit''s sh*tbag status is nothing short of legendary - but this really IS just a case of people trying to make a name for themselves by taking down the mayor... I mean, come ON - the guy was banging someone at work - sure... he should get fired... but jail for lying about it??? Perjury, psha!

THEY were the ones who created the environment where ANY guy who leers wrongly at a woman, much less gets caught getting sucked off by the intern in his office would be LUCKY to just get fired... so when it was THEIR guy - holding the highest office in the land - I didn''''t much care about what he did per se - but I wasn''''t about to give liberals a free pass on their OWN ideology....

Those were my feelings EXACTLY!!! The Democrats are STILL giving him a free pass. IT STINKS!!!

THEY''RE ALL CROOKS, THEY ALL HAVE TO GO.

I do not mean this as an insult to all members of the GOP but just to point out that gross corruption is not strictly of Democratic provenance.

It is SO NICE to hear someone say that!! Usually I''m saying that about the GOP.

Maybe we are moving together to realize THEY''RE ALL CROOKS AND THEY ALL HAVE TO GO.

...I''m sort of on the fence with this. Now when it came to Billy Boy, I was more of the opinion that - hey, it''s LIBERAL DEMOCRATS, especially the N.O.W. who had been hunting down these h0rny male bosses left & right... THEY were the ones who created the environment where ANY guy who leers wrongly at a woman, much less gets caught getting sucked off by the intern in his office would be LUCKY to just get fired... so when it was THEIR guy - holding the highest office in the land - I didn''t much care about what he did per se - but I wasn''t about to give liberals a free pass on their OWN ideology.... of course, liberals - including the N.O.W. did an about face & started talking about how it was ''a private matter'', or ''oh he''s human'', or how ''Kennedy did it too''... ***, I''m outta space

Remember Marion Berry?

Carl Rowan with his illegal gun?

Jesse Jackson using the n-word?

Al Sharpton wearing that hat? Well, we all make mistakes.

Yah, there''s going to be trouble next year.

Are you trying to be intelligent. The fact is the white-man government did not leave the minorities nothing more than corruption, poverty, and murder. Ask the American Native Indians; moreover, ask the Nobles of Scots how they treated their own race!

I got a belly full of the anti-Democratic party sentiment after reading about the 10th post on this thread so I didn''t read any more. If someone else made the point I''m about to, then my apologies....
"Kwummy" Kilpatrick is not a typical Democrat; nor is he a typical African American. In point of fact, there really is no such thing as either. But if there were such a thing, then Cory Booker, Democratic mayor Of Newark, NJ is your "typical Democrat and "typical" Black.
To be honest, Mr. K and his paramour, "Kwistine" exemplify all that is rotton about the more odious examples the Republicans consistantly throw up for election. I do not mean this as an insult to all members of the GOP but just to point out that gross corruption is not strictly of Democratic provenance.
On a related side note, check out www.detroityes.com, select "forums" and click on the "Mayor Kilpatrick Text Message Scandal" thread. Those who do will be rewarded with some of the most morbidly fascinating stuff you could ever read regarding Detroit and the KK soap opera. Truly, no Hollywood writer could ever make this stuff up.

KK for vice president. They you would have two people who think they are entitled to the office. Their arragance is undaunted.
Obama, pick Kawame. He will help you a lot.

Kawame and Michael Moore, two of a kind. Out for themselves, to heck with anyone else.

Ever since the reign of Coleman Young,Detroit politics has been an embarassement to a once great city. The bigger crook, liar, theif or killer you are, the higher in esteem blacks hold you,if of course you''''re black...and it continues with this bafoon of a man. Blacks believe they''''re entitled. No matter if it''''s stealing, killing, whatever, if it''''s illegal..they''''re entitled to it and laws do not pertain to them. And if people think it''''s bad now they ain''''t seen s***,cause if Obama''''s elected it''''s going to get alot worse.

szelag, I am black you *** and I happen to think that Kilpatrick should pay the penalty. You need to get over that racist ***. Times have passed and so you need to get with the program. We are entitled just like everyone to this country. Obama also has a right to run and will be your next president. If you don''t like it, then you leave.

Bill Clinton get a blow-job in the White House; Cheney shoots a friend on a hunting trip; and the Bushwacker is a drunk who wages his own war.

Detroit government is nothing more than a hypocrite, corrupt, manipulative power monger. The Detroit judge is the one who should go to jail, for trumpt-charges and hypocracy.

If the FBI investigated Ronald Giles, I bet his closet is full of dead w*h*o*r*e*s.

but it was the Democrats ,led by the likes of Senator Gore (yes Algores father) that tried to block the civil rights act. It would not have passed had it not been for Republicans, but that is conveniently forgotten.

Those crazy Democrats! They became SO POPULAR in the South because Lincoln was a Republican. Southerners didn''t like him for some reason...

HAS ANYONE MENTIONED THAT THIS MAYOR GUY IS A DEMOCRAT? Just wondering.

Time for this pathetic excuse for a mayor resign. Michigan has two people who they are ashamed of, both Mayor KK and Michael Moore, both fat, dumb, ugly.
Too bad Michael and K can''t be in the same cell.

Hey, that is TOTALLY unfair!

WHITE DEMOCRATS ARE THE SAME WAY! Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton...

Then there''s Strom Thurmond, the southern white Democrat racist bigot who had an illegitimate child with a 16 year old black girl. He started out Democrat, but he turned Republican in 1964 when the other Democrats supported civil rights.

This is not about black and white. This is about DEMOCRAT! Even though the news item neglected to mention that HE''''S A DEMOCRAT.

This is clearly petty...like those trying to disqualify John McCain from the Presidency, because the US constitution said you have to be born in the USA and McCain was born in Panama.

Actually he was born on a military base in Panama, which is soveriegn U.S territory. Nice try.
