- In my opinion, this was a decision to be made by the State of Texas, and I''m glad no attempt was made to stop Texas from serving justice as it saw fit. One thing that so many people on both sides of the political fence forget these days, is that our nation is named The United States of America. States must never lose their right to maintain their individuality, and conduct matters according to the needs and wishes of the people who make up that state. Both "Conservatives" and "Liberals" seem unaware of the individuality of states, as they try to centralize legislation and government at the Federal Level. People in California, or New Jersey have no business telling the people of Alabama how to live their lives, or how to use their resources.
Whether we agree or disagree with what Texas did is not really the issue here. The issue is that it was Texas''s right to decide this man''s fate, and we should all be proud Texas was not deprived of that right. Let''s all keep that in mind regarding other matters as well. - Reply to this comment

- Some cases merit the death sentence and this is certainly a case such as that. when the doubt is completely obliterated and the sadistic murderers are bragging about their heinous crimes, then let them die and painfully so. Without wasting time or funds- they are better spent on the victims and many other causes.
