- I see the leftists here are still doing what they do best, kick a person when he is down. It just shows that they are the real bigots.

- I hope this conservative piece of sh... gets to see his own children die before him. I''m surprised the CIA didn''t have the balls to execute him for revealing the name of a CIA agent, along with that other barrel of lard called karl rove.

- Wait a minute people!!! Why are you so quick to believe this piece of ***. He lied our way into a war and kept right on lying. He''s a bushie, he''ll be lying when he meets his maker(satan?). Wait till he''s dead and the replicons make him a hero, then cry over the slobbering piece of ***.

It''s not exactly what I would have written, but considering the circumstances, it''s not bad, either!
It''s certainly understandable. Good job! :) - Reply to this comment
- To Real1413 and others with their hate-posts: How wicked and evil for you to actually pray for something like this and to also ask others to join you.

Yes---in some circles---it probably is evil to ask for the cessation of wickedness and the punishment of those responsible! In earthly terms, it use to be called LAW and JUSTICE---now extinct. However---
I will take my chances with the Lord and let HIM assess my level of evilness, I''m betting that your opinion and HIS will be dramatically different! - Reply to this comment
- The so-called liberals again have proven that they are nothing more than left-wing fanatics. Traditionally liberalism implies tolerance. None has been displayed, just hatred. What ever happened to "I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it".
I may disagree with Teddy Kennedy politically and morally (remember Mary Jo Kopechne?) but I don''t wish him ill either. I hope both recover enough to resume their work.
It is obvious those who are issuing venomous prayers are not Christian and should not pretend to be so. - Reply to this comment
- Best of luck to Novakula as well as to Teddy Kennedy.
No one deserves to go through that. - Reply to this comment
- Wait a minute, he ran over a pedestrian and fled the scene, then got a fine that''s the cash equivalent of taking your kids to the movies once? Sounds like that judge has a brain tumor. Hope s/he looked twice before crossing the street after delivering that draconian punishment.

- It''s too bad his brilliance will be lost to us. Modern medicine is a joke. They still cant cure the common cold let alone something like this.
Doctors! I know some I would not let cut my toenails. - Reply to this comment
- Novak had a good run, I hope he makes it but am rather happy not to have to hear his blather chat and bull funk anymore. Get well, and go to the old folks home Mr. Novak and let the young take up the torch and make this country better.

- THere just may be something to this KARMA thing afterall.
Adios, you old vulture. - Reply to this comment
- I''m sorry to hear he has brain cancer, but I''m glad he''ll be out of the picture for the upcoming elections. Who on earth ever thought his hateful bluster counted as political insight should get their brains scanned immediately.

Demwatcher is a FINE example of your typical ''compassionate conservative''! And, no doubt, a HUGe McSame supporter! I know listening to him makes me want to run out and make a mistake like voting for
McCAIN! You betcha! - Reply to this comment
- Like Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, Bill Kristol, Karl rove, Mitch McConnell, Trent Lott, and John McCain I will miss Novak. Without these vocal little fascists, it will be harder to remind Americans that these people represent the real danger to America.

I''''m in, but can you make the prayer a little simpler?

SUPER! Hey, that''s great! Let''s say at 10PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), 9PM Central, 8PM RockyMt, 7PM PT,
everyone just take a minute or two---in your own words---and ask God for mercy, and to deliver us from evil rulers,
and people who would abuse us in His name! And, to give us the strength to endure, the wisdom to make good
decisions, and help us to maintain our attitudes and hope for the future!
Don''t worry about the words, speak from your heart, God will understand! :) - Reply to this comment
- Such hatred from the progressives on this thread. And no one deserved the opprobrium more than Mr. Novak. So I will NOT criticize their expressions of outrage. That said, I wish Novak one of two things:
A complete recovery or a quick and (relatively) painless death.
I had a brother in law with the same kind of Glioblastoma and though he was a class act up to the end, it was very painful for him to die and awful for us to watch him doing it. - Reply to this comment
- The terrible disease Robert Novak has developed is a fate I''d wish on no one. So, I think it proper to wish him well.Doing this is certainly preferable to a classic Novak display I saw in 1994. During the Clinton health care reform debate, the president invited ordinary Americans to the White House to share their health care horror stories. One was a long tenured U.S. postal worker with very advanced liver disease not due to lifestyle choices. His insurance wouldn''t cover a liver transplant for him, so was not able to get on a transplant waiting list. Novak, with all his classic decency on full display chuckled at this man''s plight on CNN & called him a "whiney loser". I choose to have more charity than that, so I wish him well in spite of what he''s been & done over the years.

- P.S. May Novak rot in hell if there is such a place. He has certainly earned his place there, and cannot be heard to complain now about the fact that I and many others would gladly send him there. He made his bed; he willingly and intentionally chose it, and I suspect he has no remorse at all for the pain and suffering he brought to others by abusing his position and promoting his evil political agenda.
