As a journalist, Robert Novak was fed some information. He should have sat on it, but he chose to release it instead. It was the wrong decision, but he should not be blamed for single-handedly starting the Iraq war or even for the re-election of GWB.

This is a man who made a wrong decision, but he is now gravely ill. Save your venom for someone else.

It''s hard to muster up much sympathy for Novak, given his disgusting behavior toward Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson.

Some people are such snakes they don''t deserve kind treatment. Robert Novak is one of them.
