AverJane....What evidence, exactly, do you have to back up your statement that the democratic party is now made up of "radical liberals"? Please define. I refuse to get into an arguement with you since it is obvious that you are a right wing party member and I have absolutely no desire to try to change your mind. I respect your decision to believe in whatever philosophy that makes you feel good and what makes you think that I have NOT looked into the issues? It is precisely because I have taken the time to inform myself that I will vote for Obama. That''s my opinion and you are certainly entitled to yours. Even though you have no idea of my background you are quick to assume that I am some sort of fanatic simply based on one thing. I don''t agree with you. That''s not a very good reason to judge and condemn someone is it? I am against violence in any form and would never support anything or anyone that was in favor of violence. But I do love animals and will continue to try to see that they receive ethical and humane treatment.

Hmmm...

People who become bombers to express their views are nothing more than cowards.

Bombers know they are weak. They are very fearful and unable to confront their perceived enemy, with any substantive, reasonably intelligent discussion regarding their concerns.

So, they set off explosive devices or firebombs %u201Cto teach their perceived enemy a lesson.%u201D

One can only hope the legal system will catch these perpetrators, and swiftly deal with them in a very business-like, judicial manner.

Knowing that you understand that any movement has it''s fringe element, even yours...I hope you know that the radical liberals these days represent the new Democratic party whether you know it or not and most of us view the whole party as such. It is growing as fast as the Islamic religion is growing in our country just to make a comparison. You might want to really consider looking at the issues before you vote Obama, I mean democrat. Also, I agree with you that we should care about our environment and the animals. I believe that God commissioned mankind to take care of the whole planet and everything in it. If it weren''t for the animal rights groups, we wouldn''t have many species left to enjoy.

Question: If you firebomb a prominent scientist''s home, you:
a) Prevent someone from working on a cure for a disease which blinds thousands of human babies a year, b) Create enough carbon monoxide with your firebomb to make a carbon footprint bigger than that made by most Americans in their entire lifetime. c) kill who-knows-how-many-animals with your environmental destruction in answer B, d) make yourself out to be a murdering hypocrite, or e) all of the above.

In a free democratic society, we need people on the extremes on issues to help strike a balance ----------

Sure! I have always held that best way to understand an issue and arrive at a consensus was to throw in a few dozen whiney, complaining protest-types.
Thats why during first-grade recess, the playgound is always so quiet and orderly!

Democracy is fundimentaly flawed, because the votes of stupid people count the same as mine (stupid is defined as peole who disagree with me). But the only way democracy can work is to let the people with extreme poins of view have a voice.

Typical democratic dirty trick to label or link environmentalists with radical animal rights groups though they have nothing in common.
