Unprecedented Resolution Apologizes For Slavery, Jim Crow
- Sorry about the multiple posts of my comment to louiville2. The site kept displaying a message that publishing was currently disabled so it seemed as if nothing would be able to make it onto the page until a later time.

- louiville2, how educated of you to quote a 148 year old census to try to justify what? A racist mindset perhaps? Let me propose a scenario for you: if there are 3,000 -- or 3,738,011 for that matter -- people living in a city & you kill just 1 of them does that make you any less of a murderer than if you killed the other 2,999 (or 3,738,010)?
Don''t generalize by espousing that all Blacks keep believing they are victims in an attempt to defend the indefensible position that this apology isn''t warranted. That simply doesn''t fly. - Reply to this comment
- I can''t wait to see what effect this apology will really have in 10 years. It will be just like most of the other "work" done by Congress, hollow gestures and meaningless words that accomplish nothing. I guess they have all eased their conscience now so they can get back to the business of scr_ewing us and feathering their own nest.

Don''t generalize by blaming the entire white race for the problems that the black race has. Sure there are racist in this country, of all nationalities-not just whites. Yet everytime something happens that minorities don''t agree with then it''s "whitey''s" fault. None of us living today were here 100-200 years ago. We are not responsible for slavery and no one of color is a slave. - Reply to this comment
- Steve Cohen needs to apologize for being a dumb Dhimmicrat, and for someone who enjoys being a member of a party that endorsed Slavery and gave America the Confederacy, and Jeremiah Wright to the American and to the Jewish people for being NAZI bigot (never mind the color).
Obama too, for being a groveling, KKK-loving (ask Senator Byrd) coward and idiot.
Sieg Heil Obama. And yes, I''ll take your CHANGE. Soros, the NaZi doesn''t pay me enough. - Reply to this comment

My mother raised me to respect everyone unless/until the person gave me a reason not to.
I believe that a lot of people judge APPEARANCES and not necessarily color. I know people of all races and I judge by the way they present themselves. If one presents themself as a thug, Black or White, then that''s the opinion I initially have of them unless they show me otherwise. Not all people judge by the color of skin, sometimes it''s the image that that person projects to the rest of the world. IF my son left home dressed like a thug he would get the same response. He''s already looked at weird because he likes to skateboard and is not considered part of the normal crowd because of his choice of clothing. It''s not always about the color of one''s skin, it''s what society perceives as "NORMAL," whatever that may be. - Reply to this comment

Not sure what you are talking about is your point to say that if a white man is guilty of murder then ALL white men are guilty of murder?! That''s seems to me the point you are trying to make. - Reply to this comment
