FBI Probing Hate Crime Angle After Gunman Kills 2 In Tennessee Church During Children's Play
- This Adkisson fool is, among other things, a serious hypocrite. I always see ''lib-hating'' conservatives on these boards spouting about how ''libs'' like to blame everyone else for their problems and how people ''whine'' about not being able to get a job when there are plenty of jobs out there.
Well, there AREN''T plenty of jobs out there and MANY Americans feel this man''s frustration. But I don''t see how going on a killing spree makes ANY sense in that regard. For him to ''blame'' people just because he disagrees with their social views is absurd. Using a gun to make his point was just the last resort of a personally irresponsible and deluded man. - Reply to this comment

Once again, you prove my/our point. Character assassination is part of your genre. Change without direction is anarchy and mob rule. Establish a standard of what is right and measure yourself by that standard. Chart your course by that standard not away from it. Character dispersion is all you have to offer?

In your 1st post you use the term ''Demobrat'' and refer to Obama as ''Nobama'' and then in your 2nd post you have the nerve to reply to someone else by accusing them of ''character dispersion'' (which I did not see in their post at all)? That takes a bit of nerve, I think.
BTW, the word is ''aspersion'', FYI. - Reply to this comment

How''s that sparky? YOU poor 6th grade drop outs are so funny! You can''t grasp the reality of the Fascist FAILURE, the shipping of ALL our good paying jobs to OTHER countries so you blame people who wash dishes or pick tomatoes! Make''s perfect sense!! There is a lot of truth to what this fellow says. However, it is not specific to Vietnam. If the American people had been watching TV during WWII and the carnage of D-Day and the Pacific island campaigns had been dinner fare, Americans would have been howling for a negotiated peace. We would have never achieved unconditional surrender from Germany and Japan.

Man you are so full of it, you stink!! LOL Roosevelt TOLD the people in the press that he wanted the bodies shown to the American People. He wanted them to see what was being done to their loved one''s. The Cause was JUST in WW II, it was NOT in Vietnam. We, the Veteran''s of Vietnam KNOW that the people of Vietnam didn''t give a hoot if they were living under one dictator or another. Any Vet who had to fight with the RVN Army knows exactly what I''m talking about. Now put away the Swastika and become AMERICAN. This nation will fight for what is right...we just will not fight for LIES and Fraud!! SIEG HEIL BUSH- Reply to this comment

What the poster said is exactly right!! We have had for a long time a Fascist Mentality, especially with these Religious Freaks. They believe anyone who does NOT share their religion does not have rights in this nation. That is nothing but a prescription for big time trouble. When they start producing Terrorist like this man, someone who attacks them in their place of worship, for no other reason than they refuse to go along with the "Party" then we have the Taliban in America plain and simple!! - The gunman is no doubt guilty of murder and without self-control in the most basic sense. But this so-called "church" is also guilty for their display of hypocrisy regarding Christianity. Their own doctrines of believing nothing to do with Jesus Christ and His gospel was too much hypocrisy for this one individual to handle and he simply snapped.
If you want to be a "new age" social club, fine.....but don''''t call yourself a "church". You confuse the simpleminded.

The Unitarians are 100% entitled to call themselves a ''church''. They do NOT have to hold YOUR beliefs in order to do so. They believe in peace and love and nonjudgement of their fellow human beings. Certainly that IS what Jesus would do, whether they consider themselves to be a strictly Christian church or not. You are ridiculous! - Reply to this comment
- Fellow Patriot, the Demobrat will sell it to you in tax increases. How much is our freedom going to cost us, Mr Nobama? 60% of their paycheck is what they pay in the UK and Canada. Is that about how much it''''s going to cost us? I don''''t think I can afford you, Sir. How much will it cost me to get half of my freedom back? How much "change" can I afford? War is expensive but peace can be even more so if I''''m shedding my own blood on my own soil with my own buildings and bridges. I''''m not so sure that your "change" is the direction in which I wish to go nor can afford.

You people are so sad!! ALL you have given this nation is FAILURE and all you have to sell this nation is FEAR of the "Other Party"? If you will pick up your History Book and educate yourself just a LITTLE you will find that the Nation has ALWAYS had to turn to the Democrats in times such as this. If you do NOT have a solution to propose say so but stop with the boogie man trash... it''s just plain old and rediculous. - Reply to this comment

To those who want to know what has happened to our nation and why we have truly lost our way, need only read this post. it is NONE of his business who, where or to what extent the people of this church worship. By the very foundation''s of this nation that is supposed to be a personal thing and as long as they are NOT harming others in our country, this should NEVER happen. Instead of being concerned Islamic Extremist it appears to me that we need to be concentration on our OWN Terrorist! - Reply to this comment

- See why gay marriage should be legalized? Legalized the *** thing once and for all so the issue can be out of the way and out of sight of deranged people like this church killer.
If we cannot allow our fellow citizens who happen to be homosexual the simple right to get married then it becomes easy to degrade them to the point of not even granting them the right to live.
I remember an ad I saw on National Review, the ultra rightwing magazine Ronald Reagan used to like, about a set of cassettes that will teach you how to debate other people and, to paraphrase, "To learn how to win debates even if you''re wrong".
And that''s what the conservative mentality has devolved into in the US: To them it doesn''t matter what the truth is, or find solutions to our problems by getting together with their liberla counterparts. It all about how to get to power and keep it and employ it against other fellow Americans as if they''re protecting the US from an invasion.
Day in and day out Rush Limbaugh and Co. will make an issue out of e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g and distort the facts just so they can give people the hardest time they can.
They want you to constantly agonize and worry so no actions are taken to help resolve the problems we have and, second, to absolutely hate anything that has to do with liberals.
I hope people like John McCain and Chuck Hagel will become the future of the conservative movement so we can talk to each other again like adults and move the country forward. - Reply to this comment
- Republicans: The party that wouldn''t even exist at all anymore except for their platform of hating gay people and anyone who doesn''t subscribe to their particular brand of religion. These days, being a "conservative" has nothing to do with being conservative fiscally, it just means you hate minorities, love war, fetuses (until they are born) and have no sense of fiscal responsibility whatsoever. The last eight years have proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Over SIX years of war. Civil rights breached by our commander in chief. Internationally recognized torture sanctioned by the White House. Two invaded and currently occupied countries. Hundreds of thousands dead, including OVER 4500 American soldiers. Billions of our tax dollars spent, and yes, are still being spent to this very moment.
Iraq, which had NOTHING to do with 9/11, is now an occupied country which will implode when we get out of it, whether that happens one, two, ten or five hundred years from now. A society that CHOOSES to be ruled by religion cannot become a democracy; it can only be a theocracy with voting cards.
Bin Laden still lives. The mastermind of 9/11 still walks free.
The one, simple word for this is: failure. No amount of deception, indignation or wailing by republicons can change these facts.
Failure of Bush. Failure of Cheney. Failure of the republicans.
Time for a change. - Reply to this comment

Yes, his logic does sound typically neoCON! Definitely twisted! Evidently, he saw it as the friendly state ''CONS giving him the benefits?! But, somehow, the evil liberals took over and wanted his food stamps back!?
When in all likelihood, he exhausted them or didn''t remain eligible to receive them, so he was being cut off. Who can say for sure, what he was thinking?!
Unfortunately, if this had been a liberal, this story would be played night and day for days! But, because this hater was a neocon it will quickly be allowed to die! In order to get it out of the publics mind. - Reply to this comment

I agree. His motives were less than honorable. The Iraqis need to manage their own affairs, we need to take care of our business, it requires funding, and our foreign aid would best be spent in America!
Our government is VERY messed up. And tens of millions of Americans are becoming aware of it, thanks to Bush.
Take care. - Reply to this comment

Where i ws at in Nam reporters were not allowed to know about and as far as i know the information is still classified. I was told it would remain classified till ater my death. I was surprised they let the movie Apolycalypse Now be releaased. I thought my God they are going to tell the truth about how screwed up our govt really is. Then i realized unless you were there you would never believe our gov was that screwed up. - Reply to this comment

I do not suport the war in iraq. I think bush wanted it for revenge, muscle flexing, and got lucky enough to get filthy rich from it while he spills our soldiers blood. I feel this was an internal matter the Iraqui people should have addressed in their own way. I think now we should be coe isolationits, have leadership to address our problems at home, and end foreign aid. No one supports us and we can no longer afford to support the world. - Reply to this comment
- But when you bring the war home in living color and shove it in the face of the American people, they didn''''t like to be reminded of what they were supporting.

There''s very much TRUTH in this point you make! And,
this is WHY there has been SO little reporting of the Iraq war! There have been periods of time where for several days this network or that, failed to report on the war! Now, it''s lasted longer than WWII! OUCH!
No, the media isn''t losing the Iraq war for us, their lack of reporting has kept it going! I just hope in the end it works out! That, we leave soon, the Iraqis find heart to take care of their own affairs, etc.! - Reply to this comment
