Say, how do "hot lap dances" affect global warming? Last week, a Gore supporter, Louis Posner, enraged over the result of the 2000 presidential election and founder of the Democratic voter organization Voter March, was arrested in New York on charges of prostitution and money laundering.

According to the police, in addition to sponsoring events with Vincent Bugliosi about Bush stealing the 2000 election, Posner ran a prostitution ring out of his club, the Hot Lap Dance Club, where employees say they were required to have *** with Posner in order to work there. No wonder Posner was so testy about the 2000 election -- he wanted to preserve the glory of the Clinton years.

The religious right and their fake concern for an embryo is demonstrated by the above article. Their so-called morality stinks to high heaven, because they are the ultimate in hypocrites and will be judged.

With global warming there should be no need to worry about heating. In this highly biased article, the implication is that congress must adjoun for summer vacation or the world will end.

I got an idea. To celebrate the repubs victory we should turn off CONgresses heat next winter. Only problem is they''d just fill the capital buildings with more of their lawyerly hot air!!!

Just wait to Pope Obama gets elected. You will have the most social / liberal legislation ever passed in Congress and there will be tax increases so great that even the poor will be whinning. Only the very rich will be able to afford the social programs of the Democrats. We will fall into the greatest recession since the Great Depression when we have Pope Obama. Obama is proud of his African hearitage, the part that his father got a poor white girl pregenat and then left her. Why no pictures and why isn''t he proud of his white hearitage?

The GOP cares for embryos, but only until they''re born.

Then their cold-hearted policies harm the most vulnerable.

Typical LAMEstream media whining. If the GOP blocked it, there must have been a valid reason. It''s probably loaded with additional ''socialist'' democrat legislation that would be counter productive to our country.

Keep up the good work! Block the losers every chance you get.

This is want is wrong with our country, we are always waiting for someone else to give us news, tell us how to vote, where to spend our money...this mentality is how we ended up in Iraq and why we still have a chaotic foreign policy and an eroding domestic situation.

Instead of waiting WE ALL NEED TO LEARN to act for ourselves and start telling congress what to do rather than wait for them to do something for us.

Food for thought!

But the Repugs are dead set to give them whatever they want, and are willing to punish the poor as hostages to get what they want.

Posted by omnibus66 at 09:45 AM : Jul 27, 2008

Well that''s simple. Republican''s do not consider the Poor to be REAL American''s. Remember this who economy is just in our minds and we shouldn''t "Whine" about the Republican''s beeing unable to fix it! IF we do not change the course of this country, sure these Seniors will be fine but what about the NEXT? If we do NOTHING, as we have for DECADES now under the Republican''s, you have to wonder not if they next generation will be better off. No. You must then wonder just how bad it will be for them.

IF THE DEM''''S WERE GOING TO LIVE UP TO THERE PROMISES, THEY WOULD BOTH WORK ON GETTING MORE DOMESTIC OIL AND INCREASING THE AID TO THE POOR.

BUT NO.... PELOSI WON''''T EVEN ALLOW A DEBATE ON GETTING MORE OIL. NOW THAT IS BI-PARTISANSHIP!!!

I do not understand why people would say this. The Democrats have such narrow Margins they can hardly do anything against a Republican Party that is at best Radical Right Wing. When you look at our Country when the Republican Party took it over and look at it now, the view is NOT a pretty one. To attempt, after Secret Energy Policy Meetings, I''d say it''s time to turn it over to the OTHER Party now.

Typical Republican charity!!!! Why any middle class person votes Republican is amazing?????? I guess they enjoy slitting their own throat and watching themselves slowly bleed to death.

Posted by grumpas at 09:07 AM : Jul 27, 2008

Well I have to agree. What AMERICAN would want to continue to follow Republican''s and their policies? If you think this is bad try 4 MORE years of the failure we are living with. ANYONE who doesn''t want to change the Course of this Country is NOT Working for a Living.

As soon as we can freeze ''em out, the sooner we can suck out all their assets....not that they have TOO much in the way of assets being as how they NEED ASSISTANCE paying their bills.

Still, it all adds up for us.

Have you ever witnessed a child throwing a tantrum because its mother wouldn''t let it have something? ''NO, I don''t want this toy, I want THAT one! Waaahh''

That is exactly what the oil companies are, spoiled corporate brats, throwing a tantrum because they don''t have the oil leases they want. The ones that look more profitable to them than the millions of acres they already have available to them.

But the Repugs are dead set to give them whatever they want, and are willing to punish the poor as hostages to get what they want.

I''m aware there are sources for this information. My comments were directed at CBS for failing to provide these important data.

And just try telling Congress what you want. I''m sure they''ll be as happy to ignore you the same way they ignore everyone else who doesn''t appear with a fistfull of dollars.

I never ceases to amaze me how Republicans can hate fellow Americans so much.

They jump all over giving welfare checks to IndyMac, FreddieMac and FannieMae, they bailout two most banks just yesterday with Tax Payer Money yet they tell the poor to stick it unless we allow the rich to get richer.

Very "morals and values" like......
