I find nothing funny about this. My youngest brother was killed by a Grizzly bear in Gallatin many years ago. I think they should all be shot. Save a lot of people from injury and death.

Maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time? Or was he just minding his own business, have some rotgut whiskey, and a bear walked into the bar... ? Otherwise, if he was in a bear''s habitat, then nature took it''s course and killing the rest of the bears makes no sense.

Morganbarber - I was saying that that tongue in cheek, get it?

I grew up knowing that the old timers believed in the "shoot, shovel, and shut up" rule for taking care of dangerous and nuisance bears. Killing a grizzly is still permissable as long as you can prove it was in self-defense...so you better be bleeding!

This is just too much!
Be it Wall Street or in the middle of nowhere bears are having it their way!
I can''t stand it any longer!

Its OK for the bear to kill the camper, but if the camper shoots the bear, he goes to jail. By the way, a .44 magnum can kill a bear. So can a .357 if you hit it in the right place.

Only a Gizzly Bear with a taste for humans will bother you. Brown and Black Bears have never bothered me or the men I have taken on hunting trips to the high country over the years as a hunting guide.
The problem in Yellowstone is that dumb people feed the *** animals from their car windows.
Better to pay a small fine for having a gun in the National Forests than being lunch for a bear I always say.

Posted by deacon20081 at 12:17 PM : Jul 18, 2008---- Maybe they''ve learned the smell of Hoppes#9 gun solvent means there are "thundersticks" around. Folks should maybe take some as cologne to the mountains. Just don''t do that around some good ''ole country girls,.....might turn them on and you''ll get attacked by them she-devils. Then go explain that to the other she-devil waiting at home,.....I''ll take the Grizzly thank you very much. They don''t know how to shoot back like mine does. Me good boy :)

If you can teach a Grizzly bear to shoot they
will shoot the rest of them.

How many brothers are there left to shoot?

Now I get it, put all the food out of reach and line the campers up close to the bear trail, so the animal won''t ever get close to the rangers, who are federally insured employees!

You don''t what Bears sleeping in your yard, so why are you in the Bears yard ? A Bear ate a 11 yo boy in the Rockies last year, during the night when everyone slept. Be prepared to die if your around Smokey,it''s all instinct.

When I go camping in the wild I expect a bear or two might show up. It is their natural habitat. If a bear comes to my house, he''s gonna find people livin'' there, ya know?

I thought this was a story about bears.

It is apparently about the bare naked ladies
of Montana.
