- The next logical step is for the police to interview the dog.

My response:
1. Most Congressmen are lawyers. We see how well government functions (not). Lawyers are in there fighting for the right of corporations to pollute the air, contaminate the waterways, and despoil the Mother Earth! Look around, everywhere we''re teetering on the edge, lawyers are THERE!
2. I believe if more lawyers, politicians, and judges were shot, it would send a pretty powerful message out through the land that the public was no longer going to put up with the B.S.!
3. If I was on a jury sitting in judgment of someone who had shot a lawyer, and they could show reasonable cause for their actions, I''d vote for acquittal!
4. A truly good, professional lawyer who listens to his clients and does what he''s supposed to doesn''t have any problems! - Reply to this comment
- Each found out the other was an attorney, and they shot each other. Justifiable homicide I''d say.

- Many divorce lawyers are comtemptible parasites, but even if they are, it''s not a capital crime. Otherwise, all politicians would be killed.

- Deborah, it''s what lawyers do. They''re part of the problem, not the solution, in divorce procedings. More and more people are just saying "screw this" and going "pro se" (on their own) and the courts and judges are being forced to pay attention to what the pro se individual wants because there''s no longer any lawyer to convince them that they don''t want what they think they want. And, they (the courts and judges) have to do it that way because, otherwise, they (the courts and judges) will be accused of not having looked out for the individuals rights.

- A lawyer can only do what YOU "ask" or "allow" him/her to do.

My response:
1. Your statement is one of THEORY, my friend! And, the smart ones do what you say! Unfortunately, it is my opinion, that the majority DO NOT do as you say, and THAT, is what gets them in trouble!
2. Perhaps, you haven''t had any experience with lawyers yet---actually, that''s good! Live a moderate life and stay out of trouble. Because a good lawyer is a rare find, and unless you have one, you don''t want to have to count on one too much. Look at Deborah''s post.
3. As she points out, often times they do what THEY want to do---what''s convenient or expedient for them! And they add insult to injury by charging you for it!
Anyway, good luck in the future, look around for a competent one before you need one! - Reply to this comment
- This seems like it would point more to a business associate or a family member, not a client. A client would not be such a familiar face that he could tie up the dog or just walk into the house. Had to be somebody they knew well.

- I''''ve paid over $50,000.00 on attorneys and they did NOT do what I asked them to do.

My response:
1. I extend my sympathies to you, it sounds like you got the proverbial ''shyster''!
2. If you''re paying, they should be following your wishes, unless your orders are blatantly illegal!
Assuming that wasn''t the case, they errored in disobeying you!
3. Being out $50,000 dollars, I understand that maybe you wanted just to end your ordeal with those ''blood suckers''! But you seriously should have considered filing a complaint with the state attorney general!
4. Unfortunately, your situation is not that unique. Most of the people I know, have at one time or another had terrible encounters with lawyers! It''s really pretty common!
Well, have a good day! :) - Reply to this comment

- Where I live, people don''''t get paid unless they do what they are told to do, and have done a good job.

1. WOW! You don''t live in America, do you?!
2. What''s the name of this place---Paradise?!

- Deborah - sorry to hear you had horrible lawyers. I have four lawyers in my close-knit family. Thankfully, they always tell their client what they can expect from day one. Sounds like you got taken to the cleaners by your own lawyer. Always horrible to hear.
My general comment: lawyers are people, too. It doesn''t necessarily have anything to do with their occupation. What may seem open and shut may actually be about something more personal. I hope they figure this one out. Anyone else notice the irony of the dog being left tied up rather than dead? Says a lot, I think, about the killer''s opinion of the murdered couple. - Reply to this comment
- stn_sage are u a professional expert on human behavior. why dont u seal your mouth until u have something intelligent or decent to say. don''''t think that will happen so i guess i wont be hearing from you

My response:
1. I think what I''ve already said is reasonably intelligent. But, that necessitates that you''re smart enough to understand that!
2. I''m not about to ''shut my mouth''. I have the same right to speak as you or the others telling jokes!
3. It''s generally said, or seems to be the case, that people have for friends, people who are like them! If that is the case, I''m glad I never met your dead lawyer friends!
4. Do you think they would want you lamenting them as you are doing? Does attacking me make you feel better?
5. Through your behavior, you are reinforcing all those negative stereotypes that the people here have about lawyers! Think about it!
6. Assuming it wasn''t a murder-suicide, it sounds like a professional ''hit'', or least an accomplished amateur. If I were the police, I''d start with distraught friends and neighbors, as said in Shakespeare, ''me doth think the lady protesteth too much''! - Reply to this comment

I agree. Like when the "Christians" slaughtered Muslims/Jews during the crusades.
