FYI....I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and am a Molecular Biologist. My specialty is DNA and RNA analysis. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. You suspect wrong.

If DNA means nothing, you might want to consider another field.

Someone said: ''This DNA test means nothing.''

Why do I suspect that this person has never personally examined the DNA sample or the results of the touch analysis, AND doesn''t have sufficient education and/or experience on the subject matter to to even express a competent opinion?

I''m wondering if he just made it up, is misapplying some immaterial limitation of DNA analysis, or just repeating what some other person told him who also has no personal knowledge of the actual evidence and analytical procedures applied.

The DNA is a red herring.

Yeah, like you know or something. Get a life. Oh, that''s what the prosecutor of the Duke Lacrosse players said as well. And we all know where he ended up.

This is old news. The evidence was clear from the start that this family was not guilty, but it makes good news sales to spin around a wicked mother or father or brother and ruin somebody''s life just for pure selfish gain.

Amazing how many won''t let go of their hatred for the Ramsey''s, can''t accept that they made a mistake. The poor family, two such blows in such a short time.

I bet half the people still believe there was snow all around the house that would have shown intruder footprints (no, there wasn''t - as crime scene photographs showed - the police lied about that).

Just about EVERYONE that is accused of a crime in this country is tried and convicted by the media well before they get their day in court. In this case, the D.A., sheriff and the media should be sued by the father and be forced to pay PERSONALLY. The owners of the media outlets should also be included.

"To all those that still can''''t let this go and still say the Parents did it, I wish some day you are accused of something you didn''''t do and have others point the finger at you. "...nirak2

Well, maybe in that case I would willingly submit to an FBI polygraph test. This DNA test means nothing.

I have never believed that the Ramseys killed Jon Benet.I''m glad that they have officially been cleared, but think is such a shame that she went to her grave knowing that she was a suspect and that so many believed it.

Well, Mom dressed her up like a little sexpot/hooker.
What do you expect? Every perv/creep/psycho within 100 miles was trying to track her down.

mericarocks: last year there was a guy on 60 Minutes, a mathematical savant (he could recite pi to something like 21,000 digits)...anyway, in order to test him on something other than math. he was given a week (with a coach) to learn to speak icelandic. he did it. pretty impressive

You mean like when you''re picking a nickname such as Impeach_w ?

The Democrat senate voted 61% authorizing the war, Democrats vote YES to continual funding of the war, and voted NO to withdrawl....I can also provide you with many quotes from Prominent democrats who stated the same things bush said, long before he even mentioned them....so the Impeachment mirror doesn''t look so good for the Dems

I never believed that Jon Benet''s "family" had anything to do with her murder. I have however always believed that it was somone they knew and were associated with concerning the beauty pageants. I only hope that the killer is found and pays with their own life for bringing all this on Jon Benet and her family. Recently there was another child murderer caught through DNA evidence. Marcia Trimble in Nashville, TN. can now rest in peace and similar to both childrens parents, Marcia''s father passed without ever knowing who the killer was of if he would ever be found. To him and Patsy Ramsey, your prayers are being answered now. Let''s hope that Jon Benet''s killer is caught soon.

Why weren''t DNA tests done and reported in the very beginning???
Posted by marbru

Maybe actually reading the article would help you answer your own questions...

"The new type of DNA testing, not available in previous years, was conducted on DNA recovered from JonBenet''''s leggings, reports CBS-4 TV in Denver. Previous tests were conducted on DNA collected from her underwear. Those earlier tests also did not match any of the Ramsey family members."

Can anything ever have been more wrong than what happened in Boulder, CO. The law in Boulder County bears a heavy burdon. However, it shows you that when you allow the media to basically take a snippet of news and make of it what they will ~ everyone else falls into the web. The media''s emphasis on "so-called experts" , people who are at best ill-informed and affected by their own importance, seem to contribute heavily to the Media''s culpability.

MericaRocks, if you''re talking about Wikipedia
...then you are nuts if you think gathering information from an editable site is worth my time. I won''t argue with you on this, I was referring to actual people coming from foreign countries and trying to learn our language.
