Least he never lost his cool. That would have been awful. You gotta be cool 24-7 no matter what, bro.

Instant karma.

How to screw up your life with one mistake. He didn''t want to let his homeys from the old hood down. Oh no. You never want to do that. Got to stay loyal.

"Keep it real."

It is true that what Mr. Vick did to those poor animals was despicable. However the man deserves some compassion. When Mr. Vick is down on his kness, it seems that some people with no class enjoy kicking the hell out of him.

"Everybody deserves a second chance. Martha Stewart got one"...XmanBorg

Martha Stewart served her time, then got on with her life. Vic can do that too.

When he gets out he can swing by Vegas and lay odds on the roulette table.

I get the dog races, but dog fighting is just cruel.

It is an outrage Vick gets to file bankruptcy. He will still be a millionaire when all is said and done. I think by being in prison, he should lose his right to file the bankruptcy. No, he has not lost everything and won''t - not by any stretch of the imagination.

Liberty: Do you go to Liberty University?

I am a christian too and stand by you on the abortion issue but the bombing of arab cities is irrelevant. I happen to be an animal lover too. Animals which God put her to glorify him. And most of these Arab cities deserve to be bombed for their criminality.

Vick found out the hard way that "what goes around, comes around". Now he gets to stick it to all his creditors. What an outrage. He should get what he gave those poor animals, pain and misery.

Well said, MyOpinion1! I agree with you totally.

The "fundies" bring their off-topic agenda into everything.

Liberty631,
How you can bring "butchering babies" into this discussion is beyond me. We are talking "apples" here and leave it to one of you bible toters to bring "oranges" into the discussion.

I am dodging the stones you are throwing from your religious pedestal on my way out.

The ones that are thugs before becoming professional atheletes mostly remain thugs. Some become thugs as a result of the huge salaries. Look at the statistics. Everyone knows their names from the news of their arrests. Their statistics have a lot of commonality/similarities. Same kind of folks - thugs!

Drugs, alcohol, their physical violence towards mostly women and rape of women ... all this speaks for itself. They are just overpaid thugs!

I am amazed at all this compassion for dogs. We in this country butcher babies in the womb everyday, our government has no problem dropping bombs on arab cities. I do not view MR. Vick with as much contempt as most of you leaving comments. Maybe you should look in the mirror, "he without sin cast the first stone"

Sad part is ... while law abiding citizens are being put out on the streets by current economics, this nimrod will never miss a meal or lack the comforts of home even *bankrupt*

He''ll file bankruptcy and still walk away with millions. Seems to me if he files bankruptcy, he should have to pay what he can at the time and pay the rest as he goes. Bankruptcy should not clean the slate and allow the RICH to start over at the expense of the little man. They claim that they are broke and walk away with more than the average person will see in their lifetime. Explain to me how that means he''s broke. Pay your debts like everyone else!!

Hey ladyephesus1,

This did not just "happen" to Vick. He made a choice all by himself to torture many, many dogs over a very long period of time. It is not like he did it once and realized he had made a horrible mistake.

I do not understand the "bleeding hearts" for Michael Vick!!!

Wouldn''t it just suck if his debt collectors (read bookies, dealers and loan sharks) came to "talk" to him with some dogs...
