Is it to hard for you to ask God to intercede for us and stop these fires as well, seeing this is another way you can help? Look up and ask his hand to stop the winds?

Here is an example of what happens when you focus so much on the metaphor that you miss the message entirely:

Your missing the message of the cross? The cross is the finish work of Jesus Christ?
It was Gods justice that Jesus would die for sin. It was Gods wisdom for this His plan was his love for us his power saves us!
The sin in our lives is there period its in our nature. The way of salvation is available to all this is Gods grace! But you have to decide do you want a relationship or self? the choice is yours?
